    Infamous #2 Review

In this issue, Cole MacGrath is being chased by the FBI. FBI Agent Moya Jones has ordered the Army to take down Cole MacGrath, no matter the cost! While Cole struggles to stay alive and save the citizens of Empire City, a new threat rises from the First Sons' lab. This threat is to big for the FBI so it is up to Cole to save everyone! Written by the game writer who created the INFAMOUS story, William Harms artwork by Eric Nguyen.

While only being in the second issue, Infamous has been an interesting story. While I haven't played the game myself, I will be checking out a copy of Infamous. Having the games writer on the six issue miniseries is really good and I think the artwork of Erick Nguyen is really good. In this second issue, Cole is struggling with surviving the FBI and also living without his girl friend, whom was killed by his future self, Kessler. From what I can tell (from reading issue 1 and also reading some information about Infamous) Empire City has been turned into a war zone. People throughout the entire city have been plagued by a virus that gives some great abilities, but kills the others. Only a handful of people got random powers from the explosion that was, accidentally, caused by Cole MacGrath. The story has been really enjoyable and I think it is a really fun experience to see additional stories that intertwine with the game.

William Harms is creating an all new story for those who have seen or played the game. The story takes an unexpected turn at the end, as FBI Agent Moya takes a different outlook in killing Cole.

    The Bad

It seems that the villains motives all center around protecting, controlling, or joining Cole. From what I have read from both issue 1 and 2 I have seen that this point is really proven. While I haven't played the game it seems that all the villains have some connection to Cole's past or future and are trying to input their will on Cole's real future. I don't like how some of the villains are always knowing of Cole and his future, it seems really strange and mysterious.

    The Verdict

Infamous is a good series, but I think those who have heard nothing of the game should just wait for trade of the story. This is only issue 2 of Infamous and we still have four more issues to go, overall this is a 4 out of 5.
