Flash First confrontation: Unknown A man named Thawne wanted to subvert Bart Allen, the Flash, to evil. He couldn't do it, so he cloned Allen. The clone had slowed development instead of Bart's accelerated development, and grew to Bart's age in the 30th century. He was put back in time to now and wanted to replace the real Bart Allen. He took the name Inertia and wanted to take down Flash. Inertia was just as fast as Bart, which proved to be a problem. He joined Deathstroke's Titans East team, and his name is Thaddeus Thawne. He also tried to kill Max Mercury in an attempt to draw Bart to him. He eventually realized he was just being used as a tool of Thawne, who was his grandfather. He quit his war against Bart, disgusted. He eventually turned back to war against Flash, though. Inertia also wants the Speed Force for himself, and he continues his war against Bart Allen-the Flash. |

Wally West First confrontation: Unknown A clone of Bart Allen created in the 30th Century. After finding out that Inertia was responsible for the death of Bart Allen, Wally went out to seek revenge. He finds Inertia and take the speed force away from him. He also immobilizes him in some sort of stasis in the Flash museum. He leaves him conscious pointed at a stature of Bart Allen as Impluse/Kid Flash so that he can stare at him forever. |
