Shhhhhhyes. Been looking forward to this. Aaron's run on Hulk is probably the only Hulk I'll ever read.

I am so happy that Kraven is being made out to be such a massive badass.

Love me some Kraven but I hate how Hulk is drawn in this series so far.

Really? Have you bothered to read Pak's run at all? It's leagues above Aaron's as is the current Red Hulk series which is surprisingly phenomenal especially considering the character's rough beginnings.

@Deranged Midget: Most other Hulk runs are leagues above Aaron's. Except Bruce Jones'. That was awful.

Don't get me started on Jones' run...

The only benefit from the early issues of Aaron's run was Marc Silvestri's art.

At least Jones had Deodato Jr for the final part of his run. The issues were at least presentable.

PAD's run likely is the greatest the character has ever had, though.

@Deranged Midget: Likewise he only good thing about Jones' run was the occasional art by Deodato and some other credible artists.

True enough. Btw, how's your take on Khoi Pham's art on Scarlet Spider #7?

@Deranged Midget: Meh n it. There's nothing wrong with it... it could be worse. It's just weird that Pham seems to be the "go-to" person for when an artist drops off a title to do something else.

Personally, I didn't mind it and it seemed like Pham is paying respects to Stegman's absolutely fantastic art, but I'm still pissed at Marvel for breaking apart the original creative team.

It just doesn't seem like there's such a thing as a "creative team" in comics any more. It's a writer and a series of different artists every story arc.

Heck, when the only lasting creative teams are Bendis and his awful artists who only have the job based on their legacy over on Avengers or Bendis and a lazy Deodato on New Avengers... it's pretty grim.

That's a sad but true outlook on the current status of comic book creative teams... Why can't a single creative team that seems to be hugely successful, be unable to stick around for several story arcs? You only piss people off when you change something that needs it not...

What ever happened to "if it ain't broke, don't fix it"?

Bruce Jones run wasn't that bad. The story telling was good..he just switched directions to quick. It just Bruce wrote Hulk very isolated from the MU. Pak is okay..but his 600 run was god awful to me. Very sloppy and lazy storytelling. He just used better artist then Jason Aaron. Pak hasn't written a good Hulk comic since Planet Hulk and WWH.
