Big green iron machine Pt. 3
The third part of the Marvel Knights publication, the Incredible Hulk: Big Things part 3. Following up the two previous issues, this arc starts to become a game of clue. With Tony working on a top secret government program to create a new suit to combat radioactive areas of war, Bruce's always on the run attitude, and the mysterious suicide of fellow scientist and freind, Dr. Lisa Cummings, this is one arc that's shrouded in mystery.
Starting off with a dummy in the new radiation armor created by Stark and Banner, they test it's efficeincy against the Gamma bomb. With no sleep and tensions running high, Stark confronts his lab partner Jack about the progress on the suits, and gets into a bit of a tussle. Tony, inraged by the slope in progress, decides to go down to his cellar, where Dr. Cummings brother is being held, and rough him up some, while Bruce goes on a picnic with the twin, Nichole. While Tony beats the gunmen, the gunmen pulls a knife he had originally hid from the previous issue, and takes a stab at Tony, wounding him. About to end Stark completely, Bruce steps in and saves Tony's life. They tie up the gunmen once more, and patch up Tony. The next day the Gamma tests are conducted as schedualed, while Nichole brings the captive gunmen his dinner who then makes out with her, secretly snatching a hair pin. Later, while Bruce and Tony prep for the next days test, the gunmen escapes poses as a gaurd, ready to end Starks life.
Another fine read. This one had a good bit of action, where Tony and the gunmen slap each other around, and I like the test scenes where their trying out the armor. Overall, It gets a 3 in my book. So, enjoy, and nice readings.
