    Hulk's Dream, Interrupted 0

I've never been a fan of the Hulk but none the less I wanted to give this new Incredible Hulk #1 a shot. I'm glad I did.We start off with Hulk going "Hulk" on a multitude of underworld monsters while an interior monologue sets the mood and attempts to define this "new" version of the hulk. It was interesting to see even though Hulk's thoughts are presented clearly he still prefers to use mono-syllabic words when talking. Hulk is living with a underground community and working as a hunter and enj...

    They Will Come 0

The WarboundI was never a Hulk fan until I picked up Planet Hulk, and then I was hooked. Instead of being a monster on the hunt, he was just another outcast like many of the prisoners there. Together as the Warbound, they fought their captors and bought peace to the land, but because it was a Hulk story, tragedy would strike again. Being constantly tormented and hounded must be part of Hulk's description because once he finds peace, it's ripped from him again.Marital ConflictAt the end the Incre...

    Smashing HULK! 0

I'm not usually a reader of Hulk comics. Every once in while I'll pick up a Red Hulk or World War Hulk issue. But I'm not what most folks would call a "fan." However, I love this issue. It's art, it's story, it's narrative voice... There is absolutely nothing wrong with this issue and for one of the first times in a long time when talking about a Marvel book, "I'm hooked." I'll be picking this whole series up. Love it! If you like Hulk, the Avengers, or Marvel superheroes in general; you need to...

    Hulk Relax? 0

THE GOODI really enjoyed everything about this issue. My favorite is probably the art, because walks the gradient from beautiful to gritty and back. I hadn't read a Hulk comic, possibly ever before I picked this issue up. It was the cover that snagged my attention. Of course, I knew the story of the Hulk, saw the movies, the TV Show, I even own a number of Hulk comics, but never got around to reading any issues. I was pleasantly surprised at this story - while the cover snagged me, the interiors...

HULK SMASH ALL BAD EXPECTATIONS OF THIS COMIC!!! 0

I see Marvel sure knows how to re-launch tittles (just see how well they did with daredevil). After seeing the preview and trailer of this book on SDCC. I had mix opinions about the book and you know what? I don't regret getting it, this is a great book and probably I'm not the first one to say this. But just in case if you need an 100th opinion here I am saying that if you ever wanted to read about hulk, this is a perfect chance to do so.We start with a giant serpent creature introduced as bein...

In the last couple of months, we've seen a lot of new first issues for just about every superhero. I was honestly a little fatigued by the notion, but thought I'd gamble on the team of Aaron and Silvestri. The gamble paid off. Jason Aaron, who has done wonders with Wolverine proves that he is just as talented and creative in his handling the Hulk. The split of Bruce Banner and the Hulk, on paper, sounds like a gimmicky unnecessary attempt at revitalizing the Hulk mythos, but damn if Jason Aaron ...

    Great starting point! 0

This. Issue. ROCKED! I haven't read the rest of the book, but so far I've LOVED IT! This shows how the Hulk can never achieve happiness, and "they always come" There are several questions, and not enough answers. This issue had me on the edge of my seat reading it! (Though there could've been a better name forAmanda Von Doom) The art in this issue was phenomenal! Marc Silvestri is hitting it out of the park with this! I can't wait for more of this, hopefully the rest is just as good....
