    Whoa! What An Ending!

Incorruptible continues the story of Max Damage trying to turn his life of crime around. As we continue to see the fallout of the world's former greatest hero, the Plutonian, Max's mission isn't getting any easier.

    The Good

Each month I continue to be impressed at how well this concept is working. We've seen villains gone good and vice versa time and time again. With Max Damage and the Plutonian, it feels like something new. We're continuing to see the different layers to Max as we find out more about his relationship with Jailbait and the way his powers work. He truly wants to do the right thing now and it's not going to be easy.

Being that this book is essentially a spin-off or the flipside of Irredeemable, it's great seeing the subtle references to events going on in that book. And you may have heard it before but there is quite the shocking cliffhanger ending in this issue.

    The Bad

I'm still trying to get used to Horacio Domingues' art. It is by far not bad but just has a different feel than we saw in the earlier issues. It does have a nice "superhero" feel but it almost seems like Max looks a little...cartoony. He just doesn't look as tough as I remember him looking earlier.

    The Verdict

Month after month I simply enjoy this book. I think I might actually prefer this one over Irredeemable. Max may be on the road to being a good guy but it's not going to be a short journey. Even thought Max is trying to be a good guy, you can't help but wonder if he'll be able to keep this up? Will he be able to operate without crossing the line. And of course the big question is, when will he face off against the Plutionian again?

Incorruptible is a great fun series that's worth checking out. It's a fresh take on heroes and villains that isn't tied to decades of continuity. You definitely should be reading this.

Incorruptible is a fairly new series that I just started reading about 2 months ago, and I bought all the back issues to catch up on it. The series is about a super villian named Max Damage that changes his ways and becomes a good guy. The reason? To fight a super hero that turns bad. It is a very oringal series and is written very well by Mark Waid and the art is very well drawn by Horacio Domingues.  Read this series you will not be dissapointed.          Issue #7 starts off, as Jailbait reco...
