These guys' work gotta be one of my main inspirations in the comic medium, and they haven't let me down since i started to buy anything with their name's on it, from Gotham Noir to Incognito. They've proven themselves worthy, winning almost every major award in comics, they gotta be at least "cool", Right? Brubaker and Phillips are known for-street level epic stories, and Incognito it's just one of those (think of guy Ritchie on RockNRolla, Snarch and Lock., Stock and Two smoking barrels). It's powerful, gritty, pulp-oriented and should be the pick of the friggin' week along Batman #686... This second issue it's nothing short of amazing, Zack Overkill it's pushing his luck while "no thinking at all" An that'd probably end messing things up, with Black Death informed about Zack's re-activation this dangerous super-powered inmate is going to kill somebody, also, we get some glimpses at Zack's "exciting" Life as a file clerk, enter, amanda. That b*tch from accounting that notices no one at all but herself ends up knowing more than she should... There's some Zack Overkill awesomeness in this issue (i.e punishing purse snatchers, rapists, thugs and such) Urban vigilantism at it's finest! Amazing artwork from Sean Phillips and a Superb script by Ed Brubaker Incognito #2 is the pick of the week... Seriously... I friggin' love this book...
