EVERYBODY would say he's a ten. The guy's an omega level mutant.

Being able to control energy warrants the ability to control matter. As they are both pretty much the same thing. So if he realized his full potential then he would be unstoppable by any non cosmic entity.

She has a very good chance at beating a fully realized ice man. It would take alot of luck though.

Not really about the Teleportation thing, he can survive in any form of water. Not really about Invisible Woman either. He can remove her fluids or freeze her with a thought. Nice try though.

Yea i agree/ He can survive in any form of water or he could just simply flash free the volcano.(fully realized of course) He could quite simply freeze her blood or remove her fluids like Chaos said. Or he could freeze her completely(blood,bones,organs,skin,etc) and then shatter her or anyone else for that matter into little pieces.

I would like to put Kopaka on the table. He can absorb any kind of cold energy. He is made of metal so he couldn't be frozen.

Iceman is a 10 in potential...but his actual level of skill is much lower...you can't base someone's power off their potential

There might different rules against some characters like Ghost Rider though. His powers are supernatural whilst Icemans are not. It could mean that Iceman can't influence them. Iceman might not be able to absorb or reflect Kopaka's ice because Kopaka's powers are divine.

If he cant take down Ghost rider he's not a 10. the scale should be set with the strongest power houses in marvel. i think he's 8.

He could still be a ten and not be able to defeat anyone if ten just described his powers but not his manipulation of them. It kind of depends on the rules of the scale. But based on this one he might not quite be because he can't use his full strength.

An omega level mutant can do what ever he can perceive, so anything to do with water, air, temperature and pressure he can manipulate. His counterparts where able to let us see what he can do. But in theory, I believe, Iceman knows that if he uses his powers to the fullest he will lose something...and like what his counter in another reality is suffering, he was losing his humanity that is why he is holding back. Emma Frost knows of this.

The law of thermodynamics states that cold is the absense of heat energy: therefore Iceman's power is cryokinesis and is thermal based. he is definately a 10 cos in theory he could kill anything by draining its energy.

Iceman is a 10, I mean the ability to stop other mutants from using thier abilities i.e. fire generation, fire control is cool pardon the pun, and if he really wanted to he could just freeze Invisible Woman and shatter her as previously mentioned.

I would give him a 7....he's an omega level mutant who has suprised his opponents periodically with an impressive show or force and creative use of his powers...all he lacks is full confidence in his abilities

Ofcourse he's powerful......he's an omega level mutant.....noone could really stop him......no matter what they do to him......he'd reform....he's already unstoppable......reaching his full potential he may become god like lol

I'm willing to bet that if Iceman manipulated his size to become some gigantic ice monster, he'd even throw The Hulk into space lol, didn't someone say that icemans potential can even allow him to teleport eventualy ?

He can restructure himself out of water molecules.  But the idea of dissipating his body mass into water & then reforming it across town is too ludicrous.  

His Body, while ice, can occupy the same space as another object!
