    I, Vampire proves itself to be the sleeper hit of the week, presenting a chilling and dark take on the relatively unexplored area of vampires in the DC Universe. Andrew Bennett returns as the centuries old vampire standing between his people and humankind's destruction.This easily had to be the most maligned of the New 52 when the announcements first rolled out, and I can't say it was all entirely baseless. Can you really blame anyone for reacting badly to this cover and the promotional material...

    The Good: Let's see here. I see a cover with sexy vampires wearing little clothing and appearing very shiny. I'm worried. Let's open this up and... HOLY CRAP THIS IS AWESOME. The artwork is DARK. CREEPY. INSANE. Yes, love is actually a huge part of the story here. But as the title says, it's tainted love. Corrupted and impure. We've got a pretty standard vampire hero wanting to help mankind, but he's emotionally torn between his compassionate nature and his powerful love for someone who's rapidl...

    Wow, that was Amazing! 0

    Flalkov and Sorrentino's styles have an amazing symbiosis that play together so well that I was completely into the story by page 2. The series looks like some kind of dream scenario where we get our horror comic and our super hero comic between the same cover. This is a mature, incredible story that to me stands with the other great issues in the new 52. I can only hope that with all the good reviews this comic is getting; that more people will take a chance on it.This is the kind of greatness ...
