Hybrid is the end result of four of Venom's child symbiotes merging into a single entity. Edit
Hybrid was formed when Riot, Phage, Lasher, and Agony merged. The fused symbiote then sought out Scott Washington, a guard at the Vault, who had freed the symbiotes when he discovered that they were not evil, and were in pain.
Scott had returned to the gang-torn neighborhood in which he grew up, after being fired for the releasing of the symbiotes. Following a basketball court scuffle with members of a local gang, he was shot, losing the use of his legs.
The symbiote attached itself to Scott, who then regained the use of his legs, and more. Scott is an angry man, so that it is often the symbiotes hold him back from acts of violence, not the other way around. Since his symbiote was originally four different entities, Scott has to contend with four different voices in his head besides his own.
Naming himself Hybrid, Scott then waged war against the Easy Xs. He finally brought the gang that had shot his brother and himself to face the law with the help of his friend justice. He began to get a lot of attention from the press, which in return attracted the attention of some armored vigilantes called the Jury-most of them were former Guardsmen with grudges against Venom and symbiotes in genral.
He was once offered a membership in the New Warriors, but he declined, stating that he had crime to take care of in his neighborhood.
