    Thomas Elliot is a renowned surgeon and childhood friend of Bruce Wayne. A meticulous planner, Elliot resents the fact that Bruce's father thwarted his plot to murder his parents. Aware of Bruce Wayne's secret identity, and assuming the identity of criminal mastermind Hush, he sets out to destroy Batman.

    I kind of thought it was a failed clone of Terry but after rereading the series so far now I'm not sure...since it seemed like he was expecting Bruce as Batman and was upset that Terry had taken over.....my reasoning for thinking that it was a failed clone of Terry was that he escaped from Cadmus in the first issue and we know that Terry is a semi-clone of Bruce Wayne

    I said in my post....Terry is a clone/son of Bruce Wayne...Bruce's genes were put into Terry's dad and when he knocked up his wife she gave birth to Bruce's son...it was all done by Amanda Waller....well no experiment is successful on the first try...there had to be a few screw ups before Terry....I'm thinking that Hush is one of the screw ups

    its not a clone od Dick. Its the same that grew up under the supervision and guidance of Bruce. I dont read the comic but im not sure if i like the idea. no matter what happens(ed) to Dick, i just could never see him try to kill a Batman, or become a villain. he isn't like Jason Todd. I think he would become more ruthless but would not switch sides of villainy.

    hate to break it to you, but uh...this New Hush is a clone of Dick Grayson! (as for trying to kill batman...he's done that through out the batman beyond series. He also is planning to destroy Gotham! So, I'd have to say he did switch sides!

    Really? I thought they said it was the original. So what happened to the original and who cloned him? I could see a clone of Dick switching sides and trying to kill batman since most clones are corrupt versions of the original.
