I was so happy when Human Target became an ongoing series.  Peter Milligan may just be the most underrated writer in comics.  A lot of his work is acclaimed, but a lot of his Vertigo work doesn't survive cancellation it seems.  Human Target started off in the DCU, then Milligan was genius to make it Vertigo.  In Vertigo he would have a very successful 4 issue mini, that mini would lead to a Original Graphic Novel and with the success of those trades, the greatest version of Christ...
