If they forgive each other it could make some awesome stories and even awesomer team.

i believe they have come to terms more than once, but then for no reason they claim to hate each other, or that banner is the "bad one" and hulk has always been the one who wants to avoid fighting. There is always some sort of new revelation and they go back to hating each other. Right now I think they are cool with each other.

Yea they absolutely could, it would make defiantly make for some awesome telling.

Your basically asking if Bruce can come to terms with himself and the answer to that is no.

Short term: Maybe.

Long term: Hope not.

I know their relationship is the staple of the series but imagine a dude who does great things with his mind and somewhat good things with his muscles doing awesome things with both. In a certain perspective both of those relationships have good and bad to them.

Plus I think movie Banner has a better relationship with the Hulk.
