After being bombarded with a massive dose of gamma radiation while saving a young man's life during an experimental bomb testing, Dr. Robert Bruce Banner was transformed into the Incredible Hulk: a green behemoth who is the living personification of rage and pure physical strength.
What would happen if Bruce Banner was given adamantium underpants and then got bitchslapped? Would his transformation into the Hulk be powerful enough to break them or would he be cut in half? Or would he somehow keep Banner's size but still Hulk out (if I recall correctly Banner once gained all the Hulk's powers but didn't actually transform)?
Interesting question. Hulk's muscle and other soft tissue should squeeze out the top and bottom of the underpants, but assuming his skeleton is too big to be contained by them, that could be a problem. It would probably break his pelvic and leg bones which would instantly begin to heal. I assume that as they heal, they would form into a shape that would be contained by the underpants. The final result would probably be an off balanced yet functional Hulk.
We would witness an incredibly angry Hulk screaming with an extremely high pitched voice, you'd nearly feel sorry for the poor thing. Even his healing factor wouldn't know what to make of the squidgy mashed up ball mess.
All he would need is a semi erection to break through adamantium, only other hulks are able to withstand his penis to have sexual intercourse with him...
@imagine727: Even a semi would be overkill, all Hulk needs is slight arousal, perhaps a 10% erection, with a medium firmness and slight sponginess to allow some give, which should break the adamantium, assuming of course that his erection has increased his penis size by over at least 17%. Testicular force is a whole other issue however.
Touch and go really. If we are to believe the events of Future Imperfect (I think that's the right story)...he might just break out of them adamantium drawers...of course, that's assuming PIS rules the day here. Otherwise, he'll be pitching one high note as the green meanie if everyone catches the reference.
