I liked the idea of the two Hulks taking on Cyclops with Thor for back-up. I think it would be cool to have Hulk and Rulk on the team together because they each have different roles. Red Hulk is a master strategist and Hulk is rage incarnate. Together they would be UNSTOPPABLE! What do you guys think of this?
Hulk
Character » Hulk appears in 7771 issues.
After being bombarded with a massive dose of gamma radiation while saving a young man's life during an experimental bomb testing, Dr. Robert Bruce Banner was transformed into the Incredible Hulk: a green behemoth who is the living personification of rage and pure physical strength.
What do you think of having two Hulks on an Avengers team?
@guttridgeb: I completely agree with you on that. It's good for a one time thing but we need to put them on different teams. They have different purposes and attitudes.
I never liked Red Hulk on the Avengers, mainly because he's always stuck in the back posed like an alternative swim suit model. Either have him on the Dark Avengers to transition into the Avengers, or pull him out of the Avengers and keep him locked into the Thunderbolts. I know he worships Cap more than Jesus Christ, but have him actually BE a member rather than muscle.
I think it'll end up that either Red Hulk is kicked off for a solely Green Hulk Avengers line-up, or he gets tired of the sh*t he has to deal with with his team members looking at him like a freak even though he's nearly died 3-4 times to save their asses.

Agreed...
Avengers are supposed to be earth's mightiest heroes, then with two ''hulks'' they might be that!
@Necrotic_Lycanthrope: I can only remember two times: When "Worthy" Thing dropped Stark Tower on him and when Cyttorak Colossus beat him to a pulp before surrendering due to guilt.
@Vance Astro:... and the threat level. Normally I'd say one Tank character is enough but with the Phoenix-corrupted X-men,they needed everyone who was available. So I'd say 2Hulks would fit better together in a team of atleast 12 people when the enemy is a serious problem
@oscars94 Count also when Namor nearly tore him in half and when Cyclops semi-gutted him as a warning to the Avengers. Oh, also when Cable infected him with the techno virus.
Yea, I agree. On average, you don't need a bunch of Hulks. For large threats, it's nice to have a couple on call but they don't need to be active.@Vance Astro:... and the threat level. @Blood1991: ^ THIS, I've long awaited for Hulk and She-Hulk to actually TALK to each other. Maybe Jen's still a bit angsty from the whole World War Hulk scenario
@Vance Astro: I gotta admit it could get annoying for every single "Hulk" to arrive. Imagine amidst all of the chaos of Avengers vs X-men, Skaar, Betty Ross, Samson, A-bomb,Lyra, Korg and the Warbound show up!
@Necrotic_Lycanthrope: Oh I remember those! Rulk is gonna have a top 50 hits DVD of him being beaten up!
I think Hulk works best as a solo character, not that he can't be in a team for the big events but I like the idea he does his own thing and shows up for the BIG moments. His new comic has me a little on edge because of that since he's going to be an agent of SHIELD.
Red Hulk I think is more of a team player though given his incredible amount of experience as a leader when he's just muscle in the avengers I just don't feel it.
@MisterKetch: I totally agree with you. Hulk is a contingency plan when things go so bad they have no other choice. It's like in the Avengers movie when Bruce Banner talks to Black Widow: Banner:"Well this is....horrible!" Widow: "I've seen worse"., Banner looks guilty. "It's okay we might need worse." I don't see him working dirctly for SHIELD unless he has full control.
@Oscars94: At least from the Q&A I read about the new series it sounds like we will get an explanation as to why the Hulk/Banner is going to be with SHIELD, whether its any good or not *shrug*
@MisterKetch: If written well it could potentially be awesome, if not I don't wanna live on this planet anymore....
Initially I wasnt a fan of Rulk but despite having simillar powers its their difference in character which I really like. In addition Hulks ever changing personality brings even more varriation to this dynamic. That said, both Hulks would share a simillar purpose on the battlefield. Though I feel they should highlight Rulks energy absorbtion abit more.
Im Not a fan of the idea of more than one Hulk existing, so you can guess what my answer to 2 of them on the same team would be.

@Mr_Winchester: Banner got rid of Ross' absorbing abilities because it would eventually burn out and kill him.
@Oscars94: Oh really? So now they are more or less indential in power sets. Barring a few exceptions.
Picture this scenario:
Hulk and Rulk in a plane or helicopter, Hulk gets one of his Autistic outbreaks and goes apeshit and starts wailing on Rulk and Rulk returns the favor... rest of the avengers team is with them on the aircraft.
Everyone dies except Hulk & Rulk and they become best buds like some Irish dudes in a pub.
Why would you need two Hulks?, when you have a GOD on your team. Thor is a Powerhouse. Hulk is a tank no more tanks or powerhouses are needed. A team needs a Leader-Cap, Main Attraction-Iron Man, Powerhouse(Most powerful)-Thor, Tank-Hulk, Streel levelers- Hawkeye, Black Panther, Robot(maybe needed)-Vision, and Heroines- Ms.Marvel, Wasp, Black Widow. So you see you must have a Balance can't have too much of either otherwise it'll be a boring team with little character.
@SwordandShields: Not regularly but I liked the idea of having them both for a huge threat and as part of a large team.
@TheHulk: Sorry Jade Jaws, what was I thinking? And don't worry big guy you guys have a bed on opposite ends, plenty of room for activities! You'll be the best of friends. Has your good ol' buddy Clint ever steered you wrong?
Rulk is still an Avenger? I thought they kicked him out to salivate over the not-so Jolly Green Giant.
