I'd still rather have Jennifer Connelly as Betty over Liv Tyler.

I agree completely. She was the one thing I thought just didn't click in LOTR.

Works for me. That's two less for me to worry about. So far I have 3 previews to put up. I won't be around too much tomorrow either. I'm also glad you put up Wolverine Origins. That's so painful to read, yet I can't seem to stop picking it up. Guess I'm afraid something decent will actually happen. I'm curious about Countdown and I'm hoping to pick up Brubaker's Criminal trade.

I've got more but I don't work as fast as you do. I think I'm in the same boat with Origins. I mean, something has to happen, right?

Every new announcement for this Hulk movie makes me angry.

I was fine with the last one, and the simple fact that this one is even being made makes me lose respect for Avi Arad.

Liv Tyler isn't that good of an actress in my opinion. She was pretty crap in that space movie. I think it was called Apollo 13? The one with Bruce Willis.

I wish Marvel would make a movie, and stay true to the plotline. What I would like to see is a movie based on a major plot twist in the Marvel Universe. i.e. House of M, Secret Wars, World War Hulk, Civil War, etc. They would just have to promise me that they would stay faithful to the story. But never mind, because it's never going to happen, because comic fans are the minority, and people who just want to see a movie are the majority.

The new hulk movie will bring back the hulk fanboy's. I'm sure of it.

#26 Posted by Cosmic Sentinel (3743 posts) - 5 years, 10 months ago - Show Bio

If I was a superhero, I'd want Jennifer Connelly as my love interest. Since she's free, I'll pencil her in for the upcoming Cosmic Sentinel movie. I'm being played by either Jimmy Carr (probably) or the Rock (his agent is playing hardball, we had a gentleman's agreement that he'd be in my movie after I got him those Mummy movies. We were in Vegas, so he's using the 'happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas' defence. Pfft, agents, we all know that applies to cheating on your girlfriend not your bff.).

Plot synopsis is revealed:

http://www.efavata.com/CBM/

"The Incredible Hulk" kicks off an all-new, explosive and action-packed epic of one of the most popular superheroes of all time. In this new beginning, scientist Bruce Banner (Edward Norton) desperately hunts for a cure to the gamma radiation that poisoned his cells and unleashes the unbridled force of rage within him: The Hulk. Living in the shadows--cut off from a life he knew and the woman he loves, Betty Ross (Liv Tyler)--Banner struggles to avoid the obsessive pursuit of his nemesis, General Thunderbolt Ross (William Hurt), and the military machinery that seeks to capture him and brutally exploit his power. As all three grapple with the secrets that led to The Hulk's creation, they are confronted with a monstrous new adversary known as The Abomination (Tim Roth), whose destructive strength exceeds even The Hulk's own. And on June 13, 2008, one scientist must make an agonizing final choice: accept a peaceful life as Bruce Banner or find heroism in the creature he holds inside--"The Incredible Hulk."

Okay, this movie is so going to rule.

It kinda looks like they borrowed the story from the game Ultimate Destruction. Trying to find a cure, Abomination, military hunting him, etc.
