Earth Mightiest Heroes is cancelled to make room for a new TV series alongisde Ultimate Spider-Man's renewal; its Hulk and the Agents of Smash written by Paul Dini. It will feature the Hulk (duh), Rulk, She-Hulk, Skaar and A-Bomb. What are your thoughts on it?
I'm all in for it, but points brought up make me nervous. It's written with the intention to mirror Ultimate Spider-man, and the artwork released looks like Super Hero Squad Show.

I still hate the fact Marvel's trying to portray Red Hulk as a good guy...he's a villain for goodness sake, and a good one when considering Hulk doesn't have a lot of good villains anyways.
But yeah, it seems Jeph Loeb mission is to drive Marvel's animated studio to the ground. Our only hope is that Avengers Assemble is better than this and USM, but the way things are going I doubt it will be any better than this crap...
Rulk is neither good nor bad. He's an anti-hero that is kissing butt to Cap because of Big Green threatening to strangle his behind if he doesn't obey. I much prefer him now as is then when he was "bad" because when he was "bad" he wasn't a true villain. You don't see Doctor Doom moaning all the time how his wife or sister or daughter or whatever died and that made him go insane.
Rulk is the Hulked out version of Magneto. Not bad, but definitely not good either.
@Necrotic_Lycanthrope: I've always seen Ross as a villain, he's been hunting the Hulk for years and becoming the Red Hulk is just his way of fighting fire with fire and giving him the edge to go toe-to-toe with Banner and possibly finally defeat him.
Doctor Doom could possibly been seen much like Magneto, as while sure he's tried to take over the world plenty of times and is no way a good person, but if you go back to the core of why he became Doctor Doom it was to free his country from the rule of a tyrant as well as to find a way to free his mother from Mephisto.
Well Ross isn't a true villain because of his motivations. His vendetta with the Hulk started well before he met Bruce; the loss of Ross' wife Karen devastated him and he internalized everything. When Bruce came along and flirted with Betty, Ross didn't see him trying to date his daughter, but rather falling in love with someone he lost.
Also, Ross becalm intoxicated by power. He wanted the power h saw the Hulk have, because he felt he deserved it for all the pain he suffered through. He was jealous of Bruce, and that built into his obsession.
When Betty died, Ross lost everything and tried killing himself multiple times. Until MODOK and Leader convinced him to become the Red Hulk. But as Rulk, all the pain Ross felt magnified and became apparent, which is most likely why he was so hard to control in his premiere saga.
