"No," he said when asked if there was any movement on the Marvel front. "I think they've got a whole lot of stuff to spool out before they get on into [a 'Hulk' sequel]."

he said he currently has no plans to film cameo appearances in Iron Man 2, Thor, or The First Avenger: Captain America. But that's not to say that the actor isn't open to bringing the Jade Giant back to the big screen.

"We'll see what they want to do," he said. "I figure it's a ways down the road."

 At least he seems open to the idea, even though it looks like it won't happen.

I liked norton as Hulk, I hope he makes a cameo in avengers

Hulk is the ugliest one there is .

Hulk needs a cameo in one of the others Avengers movies & is a core member of the Marvel Universe & technically one of the two "true founders" of the Avengers along with Thor

Norton should be used as the Hulk in the Avengers, being manipulated by Loki to attack the Avengers.  Eventually however Hulk and the Avengers find out Loki is behind it all and team up to stop him.  Hulk could be asked to join by refuses because he is too uncontrollable.
Then Norton can do a Hulk sequel with "the Leader" as the main enemy.

I didn't really like Norton (but then I don't really like Banner). They will probably have Hulk cameo, though (without Banner).

Loki should control the Hulk to fight the Avengers in the Avengers movie. Or they could just fight aliens or something.

i'd much rather have another Hulk movie than a Captin America one.

But what about the damn leader!? He should control the hulk against  the avengers then teaming up loki as well later in the movie. At least continue the leader for God's sake.

I really liked hulk despite what everyone else thought. Norton was perfect

I wouldn't mind a Hulk sequel after Avengers. I don't need it now. I do believe that's the plan anyways, right? A sequel after Avengers? So hopefully by then, Norton and Marvel can settle this. I did read somewhere Norton saying that the Marvel guy he had the dispute over the film with is gone, so there's that.  
 
I sense Norton kind of easing on the matter now. Whereas before he was pretty concrete on the Hulk issue, he might be slowly entertaining the idea of playing Bruce again. I would be ecstatic if that's the case. 
 
And returning  for the Avengers film won't be his screenplay so there is less of a chance for him to be unhappy with the end result. He comes in and does his part. 
 
For some reason, I can't help but hope for just one scene between RDJ and Norton. Just imagine the magic these two can conjure up as Tony Stark and Bruce Banner.

Hulk is by far, my favorite Marvel movie... even above Iron Man. Ed Norton was PERFECT as Banner and it's a damn shame that Marvel don't have plans to produce another. There are loads of threads left open in the first film to carry on a sequel and I sincerely hope they come to there senses and make it!

I reckon they've fit him in somewhere, but they're not gonna tell anyone and just keep it a surprise.

They could all work together as a team against a common foe and then fight the hulk when he flips out or something.
