Kinda late to the party, but I finished reading Planet Hulk and I absolutely loved it.
Since I liked it so much, I couldn't help but wonder what could have been if the warp drive never exploded. They could have had stories revolving around the challenges he faced trying to unite the planet, or stories about alien invaders (Skrull, Kree, what-have-you), or maybe another war got kickstarted. They could've had the conflict of Banner trying to establish control.
I don't know, I just thought that the different kind of story that Planet Hulk brought was awesome, and now it seems kind of "eh" that Hulk's back on Earth doing his usual stuff ("SMASH!").
