could hulk somehow break it and kill the odinson
Hulk
Character » Hulk appears in 7771 issues.
After being bombarded with a massive dose of gamma radiation while saving a young man's life during an experimental bomb testing, Dr. Robert Bruce Banner was transformed into the Incredible Hulk: a green behemoth who is the living personification of rage and pure physical strength.
Can Hulk break Mjolnir and kill Thor ?
Hulk crushed the enchanted uru hammer of Nul with his bare hands.
Yes, he could crush Mjolnir with his bare hands once he gets angry enough.
And yes, he can kill Thor.
tyical ulk fanboy...talk dont blame yiu guys though
hulk has been irresponsible with the character ..
the answer to every hulk fight is he will just get madder till he can do it ......
hulk doesnt have limitless strength.... never had.... there is a limit to how mad he can get and that has been seen many times....
again i blame marvel....
Nope, refer to Maestro appearance. He couldn't lift it. So can't break the hammer. But could kill Thor or the mortal who is Thor.

He could easily kill Donald blake but never KILL Thor because of raganrok. Thor Cut Loki's head and and Loki survived without a body...
@Pyrogram: No, Thor used the power of the runes to remove loki's head from his body and keep him alive. It had nothing to do with Asgardian physiology.

This is the stupidest thread ever... No, not ever. If he has been its PIS. Period. Thor if wanted would kill hulk without effort like in the king Thor saga. Done.
This.
Yes Hulk can, but this would take away from the character Thor that we all so love. This has nothing to do with Thor or Hulk fanboyism. Also Marvel will never let this happen. It will be like an anime where the 2 lovers never kiss but almost for 5 seasons.

HAHAHAHAHA LOL ONE GOD BLAST IN HIS FACE AND HE IS DEAD HAHA.....
Except he didn't kill him. He just threw him into space to get him out of the way. I say it's because he knew he couldn't. He killed Thing, so if he could do the same to Hulk why not do it instead of that? PIS maybe, but it still happened.

Not Canon. And Hulk was getting whooped by Wolverine in that movie.

???
@cmartin: Let's see. I've got a lot of facts that can prove you wrong.
The Beyonder stated Hulk's power was infinite. The Celestials themselves recognized the Hulk's power. I could list dozens of more to prove it. And who says that Hulk couldn't destroy/crush Mjolnir with his bare hands?
Besides, if you haven't noticed, Mjolnir has been destroyed numerous times. Let's face it. The only reason you Thor fans and haters alike say no is because it's the Hulk.
Hulk's main power is strength. "Hulk is strongest one there is": it's his trademark. So of course the writers need to inflate the claims on his strength otherwise what is the point in having a hulk? Thor probably is stronger than Hulk, but on panel Hulk will be stronger, because that is what the writers want him to be.
Omniscience.

That was heavy sarcasm. Even when heavily fatigued, Thor was able to beat an Amped Hulk.
Maybe, but if that is the case why did he not kill him like he did Thing? Someone already pointed that out, and it may be PIS, but it still happened.

Er, he was talking about my scan from Fear Itself--which is canon--not the animated movie comment that I did not make. <.<

If you guys can't tell hes tricking the hulk into exposing himself to an attack... shame on you
What? There's no way Hulk could ever break an indestructible, enchanted hammer created by an Asgardian SkyFather!
Hmmm....

Um that wasn't Thors hammer! Hulk can't do it !

It wasn't Mjolnir but functionally IMO its pretty much identical - an enchanted uru hammer created by an Asgardian Skyfather. You might argue Hulk was boosted there but he is also destroying the source of any amp so it may not make much difference.
Frankly i dont really care much either way about a topic that seems to rile people up immensely but yeah - i do think if Hulk was pissed/motivated enough he could break Mjolnir. Not something you would see every day though.

I wouldn't say that those Hammers were created by Odins brother/Thor's uncle, the Serpent in the same fashion as Mjolnir. Even though the Serpent was very Power perhaps Skyfather level, doesnt mean that he was able to create hammers as durable as Thor's. It is never stated that they were forged by the same material , or in the same forge for the fact of that matter. While the Serpent did crush and shatter Captain America shield with his bare hands doesn't mean that the Hulk could. Also the only times I've seen Thor's hammer broken is when he was in a battle like with his Grandfather Bor. This has happen on other occasions. Molecule man destroyed Thors hammer and reformed it once upon a time. There is no evidence that the Hulk could kill Thor and crush his hammerthat you can show. There is evidence of the Hulk and the Thing being killed by Thor, the thing almost died twice. I f you can't show proof of what you're saying, there's no need to keep stating what you're saying right?

The Serpent was definitely Skyfather level - he was a Skyfather. In fact he was the legitimate "AllFather/Asgardian SkyFather". It was Odin who usurped the throne. Mjolnir has been broken a number of times but none of that really has a ton of relevance since its not very easy to determine how much force is required etc.
Anyway given that the "Worthy hammer"'s are all more or less "Mjolnirs" I think its safe to assume they are at least in the ballpark of Mjolnir's level of durability and its more than likely the case that they are identical. The idea that they were identical in almost every other aspect and yet massively inferior in durability at the least seems implausible.
Anyway leaving all that aside - you seriously don't believe that the Hulk can kill Thor?
Thor's hammer has been broken before - by the Destroyer, the Molecule Man, the Celestial Exitar, the Dark God Perrikus, and most recently, when Thor fought and defeated his ancestor Bor.
In none of those examples was Mjolnir broken by brute force. Mjolnir just isn't Uru which is as strong or stronger than adamantium, it's uru that has been enchanted by Odin himself. Odin, the guy who is stronger than Thanos and who can stalemate Galactus. We are talking High magic, reality changing, threads of the universe type power here. Mjolnir is held together by Odins will.

Thats a big assumption - it isnt stated in any way that it wasn't sheer force that destroyed Mjolnir in the Bor instance for example.
Mjolnir just isn't Uru which is as strong or stronger than adamantium, it's uru that has been enchanted by Odin himself.
Uru isnt stronger than adamantium. Thats pretty hard to justify. And its unlikely that Mjolnir is more durable either.
For another opinion on the topic this is what Dan Slott had to say:
http://www.formspring.me/DanSlott/q/258951887544394517
"Not sure about the rules of adamantium in the Ultimate Universe. Sorry.
But in the 616, once forged and set, adamantium is unbreakable. (Though I believe there has been a time when Hulk was striking Ultron hard enough that he caused a tiny dent (near the end of Secret Wars?). Could be wrong though. And there was the time Magneto drew all the adamntium out of Wolverine's body-- and I'm really not sure how THAT worked.)
I have seen some confusion on formspring about Thor's hammer though. And that comes down to a matter of finesse. The actual metal in Thor's hammer is known as "uru." Uru is a damn impressive metal on its own. No argument there. But what REALLY makes Thor's hammer one of the most powerful weapons in the Marvel Universe is a combination of TWO things, that uru metal AND the enchantment placed upon it by Odin the Allfather while the dwarves were forging it.
It's the Odinforce enchantment that really gives Mjolnir its power.
So, if it comes down to adamantium versus NORMAL uru, I'd say that adamantium is tougher.
When it comes down to adamntium versus enchanted uru metal? Then you've got a tough discussion on your hands.
But, something to note, we HAVE seen Thor's hammer broken by forces over the years (remember when one of the Dark Gods sliced it in two during the Dan Jurgens/JR JR run?). And outside of that one, tiny dent I mentioned earlier (and the Magneto scene that I really can't wrap my head around), I don't think we've seen adamantium beat up to that degree.
Hope that helps."
Odin, the guy who is stronger than Thanos and who can stalemate Galactus. We are talking High magic, reality changing, threads of the universe type power here. Mjolnir is held together by Odins will.
Not that relevant but Odin didn't do that great a job of stalemating Galactus recently.
YES HE CAN !!!! AND HE DID !!! AND IT WAS NOT A DREAM WITH DOC SAMSON !!!
After I read the Infinity Gauntlet (looong time ago..), I seen a similar comic
(Infinity Wars perhaps ?) in where he was in space somewhere, being severely peeved.....
They needed him angry so they made him angry, but that also made him lose control...
And the battle was in space....so when he crushed Mjolnir, Thor went Don Blake and nearly choked to death..
And if anyone from over 40 read those comics back then they would KNOW...
With that being said....good luck finding the issue....cause if you guys are still arguing about
whether or not he can (and did) ur definitely not gonna find it...-grins-
Laters to both lovers and haters...
Addendum: The Hulks strength increases with his rage...he also grows in size....with his rage going through the roof (somewehere hitting orbit) there's AB-SO-LU-TE-LY nothing that can match his strength, no spells...no cytorak...not an army of crypto men....NOTHING...since every spell, no matter WHO casts it has strength to it...not even the enchantress' spells could keep his anger in check for Loki to keep possessing him...it's simple...when it comes to rage and strength combined...the Hulk has 0 equals and ALL fall short..
The gates of Asgard would crumble under his ferocity....Odin would take a break from being All-Father...Mephisto would run his ass off when he'd see that coming....and every would-otherwise-be unstoppable menace would either give pause or simply quit and run....
It's THAT simple..FYI...the Hulk carried something the size of Denver STATE on his back once, and that was BEFORE he got angry...(back in those days anyways..)...
If planets would have enough cohesion to actually be used as mauling instruments, then a severely peeved Hulk (with anger like strategic nuke rain on mutual destructive scenario day..) would use them to bash any and everything on the block, including showers of Cytorakked Juggernauts, legions of Thors, a few semi-Galactified Dooms (although they might be the only ones to actually survive..) and he'd pick his teeth with their bones after having finished gnawing and crushing the other leftover bones...
In my book...be nice to the Hulk......or get SOOOO stompified....no matter who or what you are...
(And that's the way the Hulk was supposed to be and always will be....the good-ish strong guy..)
(always nice until he has REASON not to be nice....and no matter how big the bully...HAH..)
(He ALWAYS gets the last stomp...)
- case closed -
Btw: To Marvell Comics in general...thanx, I had great time reading those back then.....
