After years away from graphic novels, I got given "Planet Hulk" last Christmas and in many ways I think its the best graphic novel I have ever read. Certainly I rate it number one Hulk story. The way it mixes the action, a different story line and tragedy is something else. For me it beats WW Hulk. What do other Hulk readers think?

There once was a compilation book that had my favorite Hulk story. Banner is a very very old man, and the world is basically gone, but the Hulk won't let Banner die. Anything Banner tries to do to die, the Hulk steps in.

Anyone remember this story and can remind me where/what it is in?

Planet Hulk, World war Hulk, & Future Imperfect (if they make the TPB for it) are all great trades. There's 2 part storylines within Incredible Hulk that make up great stories as well, Incredible Hulk: Future Imperfect is one of 'em.
