Not unless he socks him in the nose to try to break it.
Hulk
Character » Hulk appears in 7771 issues.
After being bombarded with a massive dose of gamma radiation while saving a young man's life during an experimental bomb testing, Dr. Robert Bruce Banner was transformed into the Incredible Hulk: a green behemoth who is the living personification of rage and pure physical strength.
Batman vs Hulk?..Seriously?
@TheAcidSkull: Batman would use an anesthetic on him which works on other meta humans and powerhouses. He would find his weakness and use it. He dose not go in swinging. He thinks way before he acts. I agree if he tried to fight him like that he would lose badly. Honestly I agree with what you are saying about a mismatch like Hulk vs Wolverine. He should have orbited Logan with one shot. Hulks fight with Thor should have lasted longer just to throw that in.
ABC logic is tenuous at best, but regardless. On occasion, when the situation requires it: Batman > Superman. It's a fairly accepted fact that Superman > Hulk. I like Hulk. Hulk's one of my favorite... 'heroes'. But generally, the Hulk is brute strength. Batman has more than enough skill to take down the Hulk with prep.
Lets see, Batman would have to create an enormous gravity well beneath hulk to slow him, drain him of radiation, send in tiny nanobots to weaken his healing factor and immunity to toxins, then pumpt the chamber full of calming chemicals to make him back into banner. Then, it's a maybe.
I've seen more of Hulk than Batman but I personally think the Hulk would come out victorious. In World War Hulk Hulk faced off against the Fantastic Four, and Mr. Fantastic is disputed to be the smartest person in the Marvel universe, not to mention a whole team of superheros (himself included) to back him up; yet he failed
Um batman v hulk. If spiderman can take on the hulk Batman surely could. I means he's beaten a highly powered Solomon Grundy and he's like the hulk on steroids. He's also beat darkseid.

he never beat darkside
He shot Darkseid with a bullet, the bullet was made from the substances (forgot the name, radion or something) that is specifically Darkseid's weakness.

Yeah, I've read one of the crossovers where Bats fights Hulk and it was horribly written. Batman punched Hulk and he flew back.
You can't just punch Hulk. It doesn't work that way. A human doesn't just smack Hulk.
lol i agree!!!
A giant with incredible strength and the inability to control his rage, against a man with a utility belt.
Seriously.
Hulk & Batman are my two fav. characters... Hulk only got his strenght going on for him, he becomes this neanderthal kind of man, when hes hulked up, Batman has multiple facets at his disposal. Strenght, peak human condition, smartest clue guy/ detective prob. on the planet, nearly all fightig stykes mastered, I like the fact that Batman is underrated in this fight because this is where he will suprise you with his PLAN. Hulk does not have a plan.
@FatihBATMAN: Hulk doesn't need a plan. The only way Batman beats truly powerful beings is by exploiting their weaknesses. Hulk has no weakness, his strength is limited and there is nothing Batman can do to permanently harm Hulk. Even if Batman got hold of some adamantium or vibranium that could pierce Hulk's skin it wouldn't work, in World War Hulk he got filled with adamantium shrapnel and got back up again. Even Banner couldn't come up with a weapon that could harm Hulk.
@guttridgeb gee, you got a poit there... Hmmm, batman has almost endless ressources of money that would help in defeating hulk, in coming up with new gadgets?
Just started getting into comics, so haven't read any, and none of them about Batman, unless you count like two of the New 52 JL comics. I'd have to say, though, that if Batman were forced into a head-on fight with the Hulk, he could EASILY get away, study his enemy without him knowing, and formulate a plan to defeat him. Batman's all about stealth. Disappearing is what he does. Going unnoticed is what he does. He's also all about detective work. Finding out how to win is what he does as well.
Batman is the Sun Tzu of the comic world he simply wouldn't attack head own if they walked into each other Batman would retreat Be extremely subtle, even to the point of formlessness. Be extremely mysterious, even to the point of soundlessness. Thereby you can be the director of the opponent's fate. Sun Tzu Sound like the Dark Knight
batman would hide- he isnt an idiot, he wouldnt punch hulk he wouldnt let hulk see him- the fight would have to be in the dark because batman only works at night- thats when he fights best- in a straight up fight in broad daylight however all batman can do is try and outrun him slow him down with traps like making a giant crane fall on him so he can run and prepare. in most situations batman would win but he would be seiriously injured- like broken ribs and collapsed lung kind of injured
@batfan36: Making cranes fall on Hulk would not work, he has lifted a 150 billion ton mountain. Cranes aren't going to do s***.
@Goddessa: That logic doesn't work. The Leader's intelligence is gamma empowered making him smarter than Batman yet he has been beaten by Hulk many times in the past.
still though, he wouldnt let hulk see him - to the guy who made this thread can we get specifications for the fight and a location? its too hard to decide if we dont have a location. it should be somewhere that works for both of them - a dark neighborhood for example hulk has cars and lamposts he can throw and batman has his greatest ally- darkness
Every character isn't for everyone, so if you just don't enjoy Batman, that's ok.
Having said that, you probably don't want to base your opinion of anything on wikipedia summaries.
@batfan36: Batman may be able to hide from Hulk but there is no way he is going to defeat Hulk. The only way he can manage it is if he is given reality manipulation in the OP. Its not going to happen.
@CaptainDoeo: Adam West batman has his handy dnady anti hulk spray:p LOL I'm joking.
I hate fanboys of hulk and batman though.
Batman fanboys say this: batman with prep>everyone else
Hulk fanboys think: hulk's strength>everything else.
I mean look at this battle.

Anyways I think batman can't do anything to the hulk but I think if given enough prep time he might do something.
@Night Thrasher: The only reason he can defeat superpwered beings in his universe is because they have a lot of direct weaknesses.
@guttridgeb: yeah but im not saying bats would just hide in the darkness with hiss thumb up his ass watching hulk look for him, he would try and take him by suprise, how about when he took down a titan version of joker ( titan is just a more powerful venom ) with some exsplosive gel sprayed on his hand? he would use that on hulks bck then detonate it or if he hides for a long time hulk will calm down and change back to banner then batman would just knock him out when he wasnt looking. hulk would crush him if he saw him, but batman is just too clever.
@batfan36: Explosive gel would do nothing. Hulk survives nuclear explosions. If Batman tried to harm Banner he would revert to Hulk and smash. In a battle to the death or knockout Batman would lose. Even if Batman survived by hiding for ages, eventually he would succumb to radiation sickness.
@FatihBATMAN: Iron Man and Reed Richard are incredibly intelligent AND have powers! They still lose to him. Hulk is strength incarnate-what's a human in a bat-suit and some toys going to do to him?
