I Want My Money Back!
Hiro-Kala reveals that he is the son of the Hulk and Caiera after Galactus devours Sakaar. Hiro-Kala wants revenge of Galactus so he leads his people to a planet called Gaiusar which has deep connections to the Old Power as well. From there, Hiro-Kala sets a plan in motion to trick Galactus.
My Thoughts:
This god-awful story is written by Paul Jenkins. After finishing the last volume of this series, I was curious to see what was going to happen with Hiro-Kala and was sort of looking forward to reading this volume. To my displeasure this story was anything but entertaining. Yes they finally shed some light on Hiro-Kala's character but when I was reading this, I found myself saying "what is the purpose of this?" as the story is truly that pointless. It lacks depth and purpose and I had to force myself to continue reading on several occasions.
The art is about the only good thing this comic has to offer thanks to Andres Guinaldo. I like his style and thanks to him, he earned this comic one star out of five from me.
I honestly can't say I would recommend this to anyone. The story lacks depth and serves absolutely no purpose at all. It isn't essential for understanding anything else going on in the Marvel universe. As I stated, this only managed to get one star from me due to the nice artwork. That's nowhere near enough to satisfy me. I only paid $8.99 for this but I still find myself being ripped off. Save your money and skip this!
