He was transported to and became trapped on our world, where he became close friends with Beverly Switzler. Most people of Earth simply do not believe that he is a talking duck.

    Howard the Duck Vol 1 (Issues #1-33) - This series was Howard the Duck's real entry to the Marvel Universe. After being transported to Earth-616 via the Nexus of Realities, Howard struggles to find a place for himself among the humans even stopping crime along the way.

    Howard the Duck Vol 5 (Issues #1-Ongoing) - In this rendition of Howard the Duck, Howard creates his own private investigator business. Howard goes on adventures to desperately try and solve the cases but always ends up in a lot more than he bargained for.
