After the 1st trade of the House of Mystery you should be developing some feelings for the cast that Mr. Matthew Sturges develops before us. This second volume should finish establishing the new tone of the House of Mystery by introducing a new surprise guest and answering a lot of questions we may have about the House of Mystery.
Pro: Great art. A story that at should hook you after this book.
Cons: Not enough Kyle Baker.
Verdict: If you liked the first book, you'll love the second. The story is becoming more clear and the series is starting to get into real motion. If you were not hooked after the first, this one should do the trick. If not, then the House of Mystery is not for you.
