Does The House of M reality still exist?

As everyone knows The Scarlet Witch said the magic words "No More Mutants" and BAMF! Earth-616 (Which is in layman's term The Mainstream Marvel Universe for those not familiar with Alternate Earth Designations) was put back together again...with apparently some devastating side-effects for mostly the Mutant Population. Now for those who might remember The Age of Apocalypse it was originally just like House of M in that it was the mainstream Marvel Universe being altered in some way by Apocalypse...at least I'm pretty sure how that's how that reality came to be...and yet while it seemed The Age of Apocalypse timeline was destroyed and Earth-616 was restored we would later learn that The Age of Apocalypse reality had endured by diverging off of Earth-616 and becoming it's own timeline.

Do any of you think that The House of M, in some way, might have split off from Earth-616 that would have allowed it to continue on without Layla Miller having made everyone remember what the true reality was like or is it gone forever...with the exception of all the "House of M History Channel" comics they have been doing like House of M: Civil War and House of M: Avengers?

As of now the House of M reality does not exist, but as you point out with the AoA example it's probably just a matter of time before they retcon it to still exist.
It has also been given an earth designation (Earth-58163), so this also points in the same direction.
All recent stories takes place in the past of the HoM reality.

Oh my...and to think the frabic of time/space wasn't already damaged enough from the effects of The Destiny War, The Abraxas Incident, Iron Lad's attempt at not becoming Kang, The Annihilation Wars and Spider-Man's 20 year Continuity Reboot.

Im pretty certain fabric of time is nothing more than a heap of goop by now within the Marvel verse.

Hmm...it looks like we are going to need Kurt Buisek and Carlos Pacheco do another Avengers Forever series in order to weave the Tapestry of the Continuum back together again. But that probably won't happen until a new Editor-In-Chief replaces Quesada at some point in the future.
