Hooded Justice is the first costumed superhero to appear in the Watchmen universe he is also the most mysterious. Edit
Hooded Justice's origin is never revealed no has even seen his face except maybe Captain Metroplolis. He soon becomes a member of the Minutemen. Tension soon grows in the group as the Comedian attempts to rape Sally Jupiter(Silk Spectre) an attempt interupted by Hooded Justice. Comedian said Hooded Justice gets pleasure from causing people pain.
He was in a gay relationship with Captain Metropolis in which he was the more dominant partner. They coverded up the relationship by having it appear as though Silk Spectre(Sally Jupiter) was Hooded Justice's girlfriend.
Soon because of many problems the Minutemen disbanded. Hooded Justice is supected by the government to be russian agent, he disaapears soon after. Later a dead body supossedly belonging to former circus strongman Rolf Muller is found. Soon there is speculation that HJ and Ron are the same person. It has been said Ron was a communist agent but this is unconfirmed. Ozymandias stated the Comedian was sent after Hooded Justice, the Comedian reported failure. Vedit theorized that Blake found Hooded Justice killed him and reported failure. This remained unconfirmed. The identity and true alligiance of HJ is never revealed.
