Are gay/ gay couples being downplayed?

I was just thinking about Midnighter and Apollo and how I've never seen them makeout. Then I thought about Wiccan and Hulkling and how they never even show affection toward each other really. So it it that the homosexuals (excluding lesbians) are being downplayed in comics. I mean I'm not homosexual myself, but one day I'd like to see what a kiss between Midnighter and Apollo would look like. And a kiss between Wiccan and Hulkling.

Pretty sure Midnighter and Apollo have been shown kissing, not quite as sure about Wiccan and Hulkling.

I pretty sure midnighter and apollo have kissed too but wiccan and hulkling havent ive read near every young avengers issue i dont think ive seen it

I always thought it was hilarious when there was that line in Young Avengers from Hulkling about not letting Northstar have all the fun when it took over fifteen years after coming out for a writer to give poor Jean-Paul a date. At least Byrne was able to sneak in a guy answering his phone in an early Alpha Flight issue under the Shooter regime.

Anole is another gay character as well as Thunder Mystique is bisexual Nico Minoru is bi as well Xavin's gay as well all these arent really downplayed

Whoa. I didn't post this so it could turn into a heated debate about sexuality. Look, I'm bi so like you guys kinda makin this religious and stuff is really unnecessary. Now to end it already, the gay community in comics is alive, but it's just Wiccan and Hulkling have some problems in their relationship.
