    Oooh, good question!  The first 'team vs team rushing at each other into battle' cover... It seems to be a classic, but I've no idea when it started :)

    @Maniac2312: I thought so myself. I found one JLA cover like this that is even older, but somehow I´m convinced that the idea is even older.
