    Hitman: Tommy's Heroes #1

    Hitman: Tommy's Heroes » Hitman: Tommy's Heroes #1 - Volume 5 released by DC Comics on December 1, 2011.

    Short summary describing this issue.

No recent wiki edits to this page.

When British S.A.S. commandos and a troop of mafia soldiers target Tommy Monaghan and his partner, Natt, they must stand side by side in a fight they cannot win. Then, Tommy and his comrades sign up for mercenary action in Africa against super-powered opponents. Collected from HITMAN #23-36 and 1,000,000.

    Back Blurb

Over the years, hitman Tommy Monaghan has made his share of mistakes --- some worse than others. The lowlifes he normally takes on (super-villains, mobsters, other characters of low repute) aren't the most professional of adversaries, so he's usually been able to get by on his alien-enhanced abilities and razor-sharp shooting skills. But as good as Tommy may be, he's no match for the men of Great Britain's Special Air Service Regiment --- something that all of Gotham City is about to discover in a terrifyingly first-hand manner.

In the aftermath, Tommy and his partner, Natt the Hat, find themselves seriously questioning their career path. With work drying up at home (not to mention the inconvenience of an all-out mafia vendetta against them), a mercenary assignment in the African's wilderness seems like just the ticket. After all, what could possibly go wrong?

HITMAN creators Garth Ennis and John McCrea are joined by inkers Garry Leach and Andrew Chui for TOMMY'S HEROES, collecting issues 23-36 of the no-holds-barred series as well as the special issue #1,000,000 featuring Tommy's legendary journey to the 853rd century!
