History

Origin

Hinata is a very shy and gentle girl and that is somewhat of a disappointment to her father, Hiashi Hyuuga. She has an obsession with Naruto that sometimes includes stalking. She admires his determined attitude, a trait she wished she possessed.

Hinata is an inheritor of the Byakugan, a Hyuuga blood-line technique. This provides her with near a 360 degree field of vision, telescopic vision, and the ability to see chakra, and in some cases (like her cousin Neji) to see the chakra points also called the keiruki.

Her Love For Naruto

Hinata always had a crush on Naruto, because how brave and determined he was and she thought he was kind of cute. Sometimes when Naruto is nervous if Hinata is their she cheers Naruto on, just like before the chunin exam. In the chuunin exam the first exam Naruto was messing up on the quiz they had to do. Naruto didn’t really know what the quiz was about and almost gave up. Then Hinata offered him a chance to cheat on her paper. Naruto thought about it and declined knowing he would get caught cheating. During the third exam, Naruto was fighting Kiba and was having a hard time, Hinata was cheering him on in her mind, even though Kiba is apart of her squad.

When it was Hinata turn to fight Neji, everyone figures out that they are cousins. Neji was holding a grudge against her for what her father did to his father. Neji didn't hold back attacking her with crucial Byakugan blows. Hinata was beaten up but heard Naruto cheering her on and uses his way that he will never give up. Hinata soon goes after Neji for a blows but she misses them all. Neji soon enough block all of her chakra points and she falls out, coughing out blood. Naruto jumps into the arena and touches her blood, her clenches his fist and points at Neji and promises to avenge Hinata by winning against him. When it was Naruto and Neji's turn to fight each other, Naruto made good on his promise, and he won, though not without the help of the Kyuubi.

Shippuden

In order to try and capture Naruto, Pain attacks Konoha. Akatsuki has no idea where Naruto is, but they are confident that someone in Konoha will know of his location. Pain and Konan are sent to Konoha to gain information as to Naruto's location and to seek out and capture him once they have the information. Uchiha Madara is confident in Pain and Konan's ability to capture Naruto and gives it no thought. This is because Pain is an undefeated warrior: as the sole possessor of the Rinnegan, the Kekkai Genkai (Bloodline ability) of the founder of all Ninjutsu and the wielder of the six paths of Pain. The one who can bring destruction or salvation to the entire world.

During the battle, Konoha is all but destroyed and the Hokage Tsunade expends her chakra in order to save the lives of as many villagers as possible, making herself unable to fight in the process. After so many had died at the hands of Pain, the villagers are all but ordered to not interfere with the fight between Naruto and Pain, as they are told they would 'likely get in his way'. Hinata was the only one who openly defied this order when Naruto was pinned down by Pain. She alone attacked Pain, knowing she could not win, to free Naruto. She stood before him and openly professed her love for Naruto, it took not only one kind of courage for her to do that. Not only the courage to put her life on the line, but also the courage to profess her love. She then attacked Pain once more, telling Naruto that 'It was her decision.. she did not mind dying to protect the one she loved..'

She stood no chance against Pain in a head on attack, but it was her only choice to free Naruto. IN response, Naruto was enraged.. Hinata was knocked down and then slowly stabbed 'to death' in front of him, as he commented that it reminded him of his own life. Naruto was enraged, and released eight tails of Kyuubi power, turning into a full Kyuubi fox, except for the skin. He was about to release the ninth tail and fully transform, if not for the intervention of his father. After Naruto transforms into the 8 tailed fox the battle moves away from the spot Hinata was stabbed at. Neji soon spots Hinata dying and with the help of the rest of Team Guy quickly finds a healer, which happened to be Sakura. After Naruto defeats Pain, Hinata is seen with the rest of Konoha showing their love for Naruto. After it is revealed Sasuke is a member of Akatsuki the Konoha eleven minus team Kakashi agree to kill Sasuke because he has become to dangerous to be left alive. After Team Kakashi returns from the Land of Iron Hinata is seen with the rest of the Konoha Eleven when Naruto tells them he must be the one to face Sasuke.

Jutsu

Substitution Jutsu: a basic ninja technique

Byakugan

A Kekkai Genkai, which imparts the user the ability with enhanced eyesight. It also confers the ability to see Chakra and Chakra points. The eyesight abilities are varied. It enables the user 360 degree vision, telescopic vision, microscopic vision and also chakra sense.

Gentle Fist Technique

This is the Hyuuga clan family jutsu: it is a strong taijutsu style that relies on attacking with chakra enhanced blows. There is no defense against this technique, as no matter how much you train your body, nobody can train to protect their chakra. If she manages to strike any part of an enemy with her strikes it will severely weaken them. It shuts off the chakra pathways preventing all ability to fight back.

Gentle Step: Twin Lion Fists

This is a hyuuga clan technique in which both ams are enhanced with Chakra. The Chakra is molded into the headshape of a Lion, which bites forward as the user thrusts their arms forward. It is a very powerful technique that can leave craters in the ground on a missed attack.
