    Heroes For Hire

Team » Heroes For Hire appears in 359 issues.

Founded by Luke Cage and Iron Fist, Heroes for Hire is a superhero cornerstone referring to a group of superpowered mercenaries and bodyguards, who hire out their aid in exchange for money.

This team doesn't make any sense.

I get moon knight, iron fist, falcon, misty knight, them being real "heroes", but the other members. Punisher, murderous vigilante, silver sable, doesn't she run a foreign country, does ghost rider need the money? I'l buy it cause moon knight and punisher are my favorite marvel characters. Just a little unusual. Your thoughts?

Punisher is just a more blood thirsty Paladin, though he really doesn't seem like he'd work as a hired gun. Still I'd like to see his interactions with the other team members.

Moon Knight is actually a bit of a stretch for me, it doesn't really match his personality and isn't he independently wealthy? I could see Silver Sable, though. But, yeah, it does seem like a step down for her.

Just read the comic...... Brilliant first issue and anyone reading it'll see. This ain't a team. Individual heroes are called on when the scenario is mutually beneficial for both handler and hero.

I think it's better because allows to avoid problems that forced the group to disband after the World War Hulk.
Ghost Rider doesn't need the money, but what about Johnny Blaze?
Silver Sable was always a mercenary.

I love how they tricked everyone into thinking it was a proper team. This book is great!

It isn't about money. Misty Knight is sort of being set up as Marvel's Oracle, an information broker and there's always something that other characters like Moon Knight, Punisher, Ghost Rider and Silver Sable need. Plus there's calling in favors.
