Heroes For Hire Take Over Super Hero Squad Show Saturday

Posted by G-Man (39584 posts) - - Show Bio

This is what I like about Marvel's Super Hero Squad Show.  While the show may not be geared towards someone my age, I love that Marvel is using its vast catalogue of characters to appear on the show.  Sure "we" all know who the Heroes For Hire are but think about all these young new viewers who only know the common heroes.
On Saturday, October 17, 2009 at 8:30 a.m. ET/PT, a three year old girl wears a fractal as a tiara and it allows her to affect reality itself.  This gives Doctor Doom the chance to defeat the heroes.  But there's no need to worry, the Heroes For Hire ( Luke Cage, Iron Fist and Misty Knight) show up on the scene to help the little girl find her father.  Will they be able to before it's too late?  The episode features Lil JJ (Just Jordan) as the voice of Luke Cage and Tamera Mowry (Sister/Sister) as Misty Knight.  The episode will also have guest-villains Brynnie Bratton, Pyro, M.O.D.O.K., Abomination and more.
Besides the fact that we get to see one of my favorite characters, Iron Fist, Marvel also used my quote again in the press release for this episode:

“The Super Hero Squad Show provides a great introduction to the Marvel Universe for a new generation of fans.”—Tony Guerrero, ComicVine.Com

Tune in Saturday for you chance to "Hero Up" with the Super Hero Squad and check out www.superherosquad.com for more information.

I don't know? I like that the show is fimilialrizing potential younge comic fans with more than just the usual wolverine, spider-man, hulk, exc...., characters that bombared us everyday in popular culture. Not many non-comics fans are fimiliar heroes for hire. (Wasn't black knight apart of heroes for hire?) So it's good for them to see characters not usually discussed.

They should through in Thanos and the Infinity Gauntlet. Give the fractals a run for their money.

That's exactly what my daughter said when I told her a comic book writer came up to me about a video at Long Beach. Except my daughter didn't call me "G-Man."

Thanos should be in next Saturday's episode "This Be My Thanos!" according to
