    Fighting Ninjas and Chasing Trains

Despite the misleading cover (really don´t know why the editorial aproved this) and some confusing start, this issue really was interesting because of the return of Brad Walker in the pencils and the appearance of a certain leaper - Now that everything is cleared up (read the first arc story issues # 1 to 5), Misty must prove to the world that the Heroes for Hire is a legit and great oganization, unfortunately she now only can count with Paladin (and he´s doing as much as he can to accomplish the job - a good idea from issue # 3, the Altantean drug named Hook), but when things look so grimm and sad, here comes the neighborhood friend of everyone called Spider-Man to save the day - I´m not reading Spider-Man´s solo series for a loong time now, but I believe that this character works great when all the problems of his personal life aren´t brought in to the picture, so when he makes guest appearances or even when he´s in a group of heroes like the New Avengers, the writers do boost his comic side and manage to bring all the good stuff about the character in the surface - this was an interesting story, not spectacular, but at least I´ve got the feeling the creative team is on the right path.

His story really sets a great pace here, and you'll fly through the pages. I have no clue if he has powers or if he's just some guy in a suit off the street, but all-in-all I didn't care because I enjoyed him as a character.I also got to see one of my...

Fun to read, and great to look at. 0

This is the first story of a new arc for Misty and Co., and it's already off to a running start. Paladin, Misty, and Spider-Man are the three characters we get focused on this issue, and it makes for some great interplay between Spidey's irreverence, Paladin's inferiority complex, and Misty trying to keep Paladin from killing Spidey. They're still trying to tell the story from  the first arc of the "hook" drug shipments, and who was really pulling the strings of The Puppetmaster, but for this is...
