Savage Land Goodies
I´m not a big fan of revamps and relaunchs, specially when it comes to old ideas that didn´t work so well in the 80s, but this ongoing series is probably one of the best books that Marvel is printing today. DnA and Brad Walker make an astonishing creative team and they have the ability of making some characters that usually are dull into interesting and captivating ones. And the action pack is significant, no one can complaint about the action, because it´s there. There´s a thrill in this series, not only for the missions that change in every issue, but for the fate of Misty and what are the Puppet Master´s plans. The only thing I´m not confortable about is the fact that Danny and Misty are no longer together and that she had an imaginary pregnancy, since I don´t recall reading any of that: last time I checked them it was on Shadowland - Blood on the Streets and she was pregnancy and they were a couple, so I don´t know what happened in the middle of that story and this new series. Reading this issue was amazing, specially because of the action involving Moon Knight and his mission and Paladin versus Iron Fist. The narrative is precise and has a great pace too. I´m expecting much more from the next issue. Highly recommended!
