A charity comic for hunger in Africa

    Short summary describing this volume.

No recent wiki edits to this page.

An All Proceeds relief comic, in which the money went to Hunger in Africa. This Stars Superman, Batman and Lex Luthor. This is DC Comics' answer to Marvel's X-Men Heroes for Hope.

Executive Editor Dick Giordano and the peopple at DC attempted a feat worthy of super heroes with this one-shot. The World's Finest team had to work together against the machinations of the alien Master, who desired nothing more than the desolation caused by the world's hunger problems. Every two pages were worked on by a different creative team all of whom volunteered their time and energy free of charge. Plotted by Jim Starlin, with character designs by Bernie Wrightson, cover by Neal Adams, and back cover by Bill Sienkiewicz, "Heroes againsy Hunger" featured nearly every popular DC creator of the time.
