One of six Olympian sons of Zeus, Hercules was born the savior of the Gods and mankind. Known as the Prince of Power, Hercules is one of the strongest beings in existence, an Olympian God and a modern superhero recognized throughout the world for his might. He has been a champion of mankind since ancient times and continues to defend the world in the modern age - most frequently as a member of the Avengers.
"Luke Cage, you don't need to be strong to break from a headlock.
cage can insert his thumbs into herc's eye sockets
"
RAOTF LMAO! Cage is tough and strong, but he can't do anything that'll hurt Herc. Herc'd put him to sleep before he could even consider your strategem.
Mr. Fantastic, or any hero that can change there shape/form, could slip out. Any hero with teleportation could teleport out. The guy who can make copies of himself could do so then use the copies to make fun of him until he got mad enough to let go and try to attack the other copies.

@Thor's hammmer: To answer your question, the type of choke Hercules is using on Thor is a blood choke, not an air choke. A blood choke restricts the flow of blood to the brain, thereby causing unconciousness. Oxygen has nothing to do with it, so just because someone does not need oxygen or even because someone can hold their breath for a long time does not mean they can resist a choke. Properly applied, a blood choke can cause the average person to pass out in anywhere from 8-13 seconds.
