I don't know what's next for Hercules, but whatever it is, I hope he gets his powers back for it.

Depends. If Marvel continues the trends of the gods being complete idiots who only show up to get their butts kicked and their powers to be either forgotten about or useless his future should be Hercules getting his powers back only for Zeus to call Herc back to Olympus on the pretext on some coming threat. When Marvel decides to have the gods start being gods again let Hercules return with only a comment about some massive threat being defeated.

If Marvel is going to treat Herc with respect give him his powers back and stick him on an Avengers/X-Men team. Let him hook up with some X-gals and bridge the gap between mutants and gods. Let him show the mutants the gods are in a way still worthy of respect from homo superior just as they were from homo sapiens. Let him feel the obligatory god spot so Thor can get back to Asgard and stop being everyone's whipping boy.

Hercules must(yes must writers) come back with his strength and be the strongest hero ever. Yes writers, even stronger then Hulk because really it doesn't make any sense. Hercules was born with strength, heck his name means strength itself are you saying writers that gamma radiation and getting extremely angry is better then a man who is pretty much strength itself and a god? If any hero deserves limitless strength it is Hercules, not Hulk.

Why don't you agree? It really makes no sense for a demi-god/god, who was born with strength it being his main power, his name meaning strength to be 2nd to a guy from a freak lab experiment.

If Marvel wants to be the worlds greatest comic company then they need to make him the guidance councilor at Avengers Academy.

Yes but Herc should be the strongest.  How is gamma radiation suppose to be on par/exceed god strength?

I can get on board with this.

As long as he gets his power back this is okay by me.

I definitely want to see him restored to his godly power levels. I have no problem with him being a full time Avenger or having his own series or own new team series ala Champions or God Squad! I would prefer not to see him in Avengers Academy, since he won't have any focus, just be a background character with little input or action. Most of the focus is on the kids of the Academy, and not on the teachers/counselors.

As for villains, they could bring Ares back and make him Herc's nemesis. Hera was done in the Incredible Herc series, so I think a new foe is needed at least for the beginning. Hera could always come back into the spotlight later. A good writer can create a new nemesis that has staying power and is a true threat for Herc.

Over on the CBR forums someone asked Jason AAron this question about his new Thor series.

Not in this first arc, but eventually, yes, I think so.

The Hulk has limited strength, doesn't he? Hercules should have it too. Since that'S his main super power and he's pretty much the God of it.
