Time to respect the god of strength!

I noticed the other two threads were filled with random scans, so I'll organize this one into the following sections:

1.Strength

2. Durability

3.Healing Factor

4. Stamina

5. Intellect

6. Combat Experience/Fighting Skills

7. Hercules' Fights

Trolling will not be tolerated.

Here I go

1. Strength

Towing Manhattan(100 billion tons):

Tossing Godzilla:

Stalemating Thor in an arm wrestling match, the force of which could've knocked Earth out of orbit:

And again, from Thor #222:

Lifting the weight of the world on his shoulders:

7. Hercules' Fights

Hulk

Hercules vs World War Hulk from Hulk vs Hercules: When Titans Collide #1:

Thor

Thor vs Hercules, from Avengers Annual #1:

Again, from Thor Annual #5:

Again, from Thor #126:

Yet again, from Thor #221-22:

Thor (bloodlusted) vs Hercules, from Thor #464:

They fight yet again, from Thor vol. 2 #6:

Sorry guys. There's something wrong with my computer. So mods, please don't lock this thread. I'll have tons of more scans later.

Wow. Thor is still better though. But Hercules is nice for those who like Greek Mythology. I love the comics from the 60s where Thor fights him.

Great job, Hercules approves :p

Very well organized, with the source of the scans, great feats... Well played sir. And yeah, those Thor vs Hercules fights are just pure gold ;p

LMAO! Hercules really looks like a pervert when he's clean shaven!

It is true that the other hercules respect threads were not as organized as this one. But For the past I don't know how many months you have attested at least Ina daily basis that Thor is physically and overall the most powerful hero in comics. You have put his strength up against hulk, superman, silver surfer etc...but now....you are totally changing and saying that Hercules is stronger than Thor (your profile status). What changed your opinion so drastically that you now believe Hercules to be stronger?

#5 Posted by majestic99 (8638 posts) - - Show Bio

@hectorsquall: lol, agreed!

@TheCannon: @hectorsquall: If I need you guys to post, will you do it?

Hercules can never get too much respect.

Hercules - Demigod hero & slayer of monsters
Hercules - Wine & Women
Hercules - Rival of Thor
Thor admitting Hercules is his better
Hercules - Champion of Olympus, ally of Thor & Asgard
Hercules - Destroyer of Ragnarok
Hercules - Slayer of the Skrull god Kly'Bn
Sky-Father Hercules - God of Gods, slayer of the Chaos King & Savior of reality
Hercules - Party Animal
Hercules - Slayer of Typhon
Hercules - Trainer of young heroes at Avengers
Hercules - Lifting & throwing Godzilla
Hercules pulling Manhattan

Hercules is and has been many things:

Olympian demigod & god, slayer of monsters, strongest of the strong, champion of gods and men, lover of women, teacher of youths, superhero, brawler, party animal and many, many more. And he's been these things for over 3,500 years. That's quite a run by any standard

Hercules does indeed deserve respect. Aye, Verily!!!

Another great issuer from Marvel with not one but TWO original characters!!!!Keep up the good work Marvel

@Dhor: Are you complimenting me or marvel?

#12 Posted by Walker696 (984 posts) - - Show Bio

Some people sleep on Herc because he isn't out breaking planets, creating suns, and over throwing Gods(no wait he did do the last one lol). At best I'd say he and Thor are good equals but the Hammer does give Thor a big advantage. I've always respected Herc (anybody who knees Sentry in the nuts and lives is okay in my book lol). I'd like to see him back normal but o well.

I have to admit Hercules has tons of great feats but i still don't like him hes just far to one sided like his own words he'll just keep punching it made him sound so stupid to me as hes a god he should be smart but his fight with Ares on the hellicarrier should be here as it was beyond epic .

@HellionVulcan: Agreed.

Avengers Annual #1

Hercules tries to throw a boulder at Thor, with Thor responding by merely smashing it to pieces with his hammer. Thor lets Hercules wrap a metal pole around him, only for Thor to break free. Realizing Thor can merely counter all of his submissive attacks, Hercules decides to use his strength to take out Thor. They trade a flew blows, as the fight gets interesting, someone interrupts them.

@NerdsFTW: These pages are from "Journey into Mystery" Annual #1.

This was the first Hercules vs Thor fight and, as a matter of fact, the first appearance of Hercules.

@PowerHerc:Do you like thor's classic costume more or his modern one?

#48 Edited by PowerHerc (80827 posts) - - Show Bio

@NerdsFTW:

I do like his classic look more.

Do you?

#49 Posted by NerdsFTW (3732 posts) - - Show Bio

@PowerHerc: I do indeed. I HATE Modern Thor's costume because it reminds me of how he currently written: as a punching bag.

#50 Posted by PowerHerc (80827 posts) - - Show Bio

@NerdsFTW:

We agree again.

Watch out, though, things might get even worse for Thor in the "Marvel NOW" reboot.
