Hercules
Character » Hercules appears in 1962 issues.
One of six Olympian sons of Zeus, Hercules was born the savior of the Gods and mankind. Known as the Prince of Power, Hercules is one of the strongest beings in existence, an Olympian God and a modern superhero recognized throughout the world for his might. He has been a champion of mankind since ancient times and continues to defend the world in the modern age - most frequently as a member of the Avengers.
Hercules Respect Thread
He has matched muscle with many such as Thor and the Hulk. He has survived battle with cosmic beings such Korvac and Galactus. He is a true Marvel hero and is deservingly so. I am enjoying his current series but hoped that his character would be more defined and restructured into one that is better deserving of the title Prince of Power. Before he was just another strong guy playing second chair to the Hulk and Thor. Even others like the Thing and Colossus were mentioned with more reverence. It was a time when even Wonder Man was more wide known and used. I think it's by time for Marvel to live up to a character that is a household name and that very name is used as a adjective.
I agree. Hercules is one of my 5 absolutly the most favourite beings.
He should be the strongest at least of all human-size beings (ofc i know that he is very big, very tall and has incredible muscules - but YET in men's norm).
I also think that his great combat skills should be shown in his fights clearly.
You all better respect Herc
Only the Hulk has been shown to be stronger
And he has to really build up to it
Herc lifted the 60,000 ton Godzilla
Pulled a freakin island
And even helped to close the fissure caused by WWHulk
All Hail Hercules
Herc is right up there with my favorites in Thor, Cap, Nova, Iron Man and Aries (In no particular order) I had a real good time when he took the role of Thor and turned it around to make it known that Hercules is the greatest warrior.. since Thor beat him and Thor was dressed as Herc.
Marvel Hercules is definately one of/maybe THE most underrated, underappreciated and improperly used characters in the marvel U. At least until recently. These past few years Herc has finally begun to get some of the respect he deserves as the second strongest Marvel hero (second only to a completely enraged Hulk). It was long over due. Hope they keep it up.
All hail Hercules; Son of Zeus, God of Strength, Lion of Olympus, Prince of Power and all-around likable guy.
That comic was a fun read. I'd forgot about Herc unwittingly diminishing Thor in the eyes of a boy by disparaging him, only to finally realize what he'd done and change the outcome of the story to make Thor the victor; preserving his idealized image of his hero.

Well he almost one shotted Vision recently
@bbnakedsnake: Thanks!
@sanmiguel1: Here is a strength feat. in the comic itself they say it is like holding the entire earth. but it should be even greater.

How is this an "almost one-shot"... Vision isn't at his maximum density, was malfunctioning even before the fight started and Hercules' punch only cracks his face a bit despite Herc being bloodlusted. Vision goes back to functioning as usual when the mind control is lifted.
