A BOLD NEW ERA FOR THE LION OF OLYMPUS! The Chaos War left
Hercules without powers -- and without a sidekick. But when mythic evil stalks the streets, and a latter day band of Hercules-worshippers cries out for their savior, what is the son of Zeus to do? He takes his three thousand years of combat experience, raids the armory of Ares for the most fearsome weapons of legend, descends from heaven and gets medieval on their asses. Return to Olympus with Hercules' "Dream Team" of writers Greg Pak & Fred Van Lente and artist George Jeanty for an all-new, all-dark on-going saga here!

Despite resulting from an epic saga that started all the way back with World War Hulk, much of Herc reads like it could almost be Hercules' first appearance. The story exists...

Did you know George Michael was Greek? 0

First of all, another impressive and astonishing cover by Carlo Pagulayan!! Herc without powers, but still with a big mouth and eager to help the good citziens of Brooklyn is a catchy idea - not original though - and it´s empowered with excellent dialogues and a killer art - Neil Edwards does the best Hercules ever in my opinion. What a God who just lost his powers and deity would do strayed in NYC? Pick up fights, save people in distress and of course try to score some booze and tail - and...
