    Damien Hellstrom is brooding over his past battle against his father Marduk Kurios with equal parts relief and regret. The Gargoyle has gotten vexed with Damien's bad temper which turns around to Hellstorm seeking intermediary to a murdered spiritual adviser. Gabriel Rosetti has a falling out with drugs. A demon suffice on sacrificial murder wanders known as Zahgurim with an avatar Armorer. Damien's sister Satana becomes a soul eating street-walker. And the introduction of author Warren Ellis debuts here.

    ' Red Miracles' carved well read. 0

    The artwork has a dark scrawl similar to grain film from the 1970's. Warren Ellis' dark, cynical, morose gallows humor etches well to this 'Omen' derivative series with a '90's twist less into questioning salvation than questioning sin. Hellstorm is less campier, Satana is less sillier, the religious crimes more gristlier, and Warren Ellis' introduction in the letters section is even more clarifying to this book's direction of despair, sin, and the questions of evil.
