Yeah, the Elixir thing does seem likely. I mean, it's not like he really loves Loa...she came onto him and asked him 'you wanna make out?'. And suddenly they are a couple. Yeahhhh. /skeptical

I'm not so much interested in who Laura hooks up with (although she's my fave char) as I am interested in her hooking up with Hellion, if that makes sense. The cover for #36 (or 35)
where they are together is what got me into New X-men...I was kind of floating around, picking up random titles but losing interest in the Marvel world, didn't find any characters that
grabbed me into stories anymore (I like Rogue but oddly enough hate Gambit, and the amount of screentime those two get together was enough to disgust me off Rogue). I had seen
New X-men before, but I wasn't interested in a bunch of teens who probably had no real good plotlines going on, there's already been so much X-men evolution and Runaways and
NYX and stuff...I picked it up just because those two characters interested me enough, and I suddenly got sucked in. So yes, I will be upset if they kill him off and mess up the
thing they had going. :(

I can't wait for X-Force  issues 13 & 14 to come. :)

They did a Manifest Destiny on Hellion. He was left in a hotel room by Emma Frost to recover from the injuries he got from Deathstrike. When he asked about meeting up with his friends and Laura, Frost put him to sleep.

He woke up alone.

He tried to go home but his parents had moved without telling him.

He then tried to join up with Magneto, but Erik told him no because he was just angry with his friends and looking to lash out. After Magneto left Hellion trashed the outside cafe they were meeting in with his powers.

After that I don't know...

Let us not forget Elixir: If hellion is to join how would our golden boy take it would he stand back and let Hellion take Laura to himself or will he stand up and reviel the long nagging truth about his feelings for her if he had any.

Really I can not stand this!!!! This will decide the fate of wheather I'll keep reading this comic searies or throw it away

Just read X-Force #12. Man, I was like making faces while I was reading it because I thought the guy with the bag over his head would be Hellion. F#$%!!@ Marvel! Oh well...it wasn't...but I have an unpleasant feeling still that he's gonna be one of the Legacy targets. What a waste!

I hope you're right, it's always possible that Laura gets there in time and that this was all a big hype...but the issue summary says "hits closer to home for the X-men than they realized" (or something like that). That sounds like death to me. =(
