Like the title says.
Hellion
Character » Hellion appears in 1276 issues.
Hellion is a powerful mutant telekinetic. He was a student at the Xavier Institute, leader of the Hellions squad and Emma Frost's prize pupil. Hellion lost his hands during Second Coming, received cybernetic replacements, and is currently enrolled at the Jean Grey School for Higher Learning.
Why isn't he on the Young Xmen's team?
" Cause he would end up in a body bag just like that wolf-faced [fatherless-child]. lol "Grow up. There's no need to swear. This is still a family orientated site.

Yes it is, so please stop using it. And like I said, grow up; I'm not trying to insult people or kill their fun, I was just trying to keep this place clean & friendly for all the family. But please, don't let me stop you... I'll enjoy the results more than you.
Hrmm... yes. Very scary. Welcome to the world of the FLAG feature.
And bringing this back on topic, I was glad that Hellion wasn't in Young X-Men. The series was slow to get off the ground, and seemed very listless. Personally, I'd like to see more of those characters again but put to better use. After the Quest for Magik, the New X-Men looked like it was building up to something. A new start. But a few issues later they were disbanded. Young X-Men picked up the pieces, but never had the same spark as it's predecessor.
I'm also pleased to see Hellion and a lot of the Institute students will be in X-Men: Legacy, as it's a much better title.
I don't want to get too excited about it in case it's disappointing. But I am looking forward to the new direction for Legacy. I'd like to know if Ariel is sticking around, but I am really looking forward to seeing more of the kids... and whether (when in the hands of a capable writer) Hellion will do more than just start a fight in the middle of the street ;)
" Like he did with Iceman, Carey will do a good job with Julian! "im with this. ive read alot of Careys interviews now, of course many on the direction of Legacy. He's a fanboy himself, and really cares about characters. also he's rel good at either giving them the amount of spotlight they deserve, and especially fixing watered down broken characters. hell, he even made Ares look cool. try that Bendis!
Honestly, no. The book lacked spark & chemistry. It felt like it was forced by the events of other titles (moving to San Fran in Uncanny, and the need to have Pierce leak information via Dust in X-Force). I also don't think having Hellion on the same team as Ink would have worked (two alpha-male protagonists would be testosterone overkill ;)
