Take a look:
Quentin Quire and the Omegas
Hmmm....and Hellion's caption is 'anger issues' in the UXM preview...
O_O
Character » Hellion appears in 1276 issues.
He probably just moved in and had to accept any hand-me-downs before he had the chance to go spend Worthington's money in the mall.
I don't mind if Hellion turns bad, but I'd prefer it if he did it in his own style. Not wearing the cast offs from Quire the Dork. Hellion is usually more savvy and self-assure that he shouldn't resort to wearing Charlie Brown coloured tank tops.
Dude, def missed when this came out. So this is for that whole X-Men/Dark Avengers dark reign thing that's about to go down? We know for a fact Hellion survives long enough to get to it??

"You mean Messiah War, right? Because seeing as the X-men are in California, it's guaranteed to be after Messiah Complex."
He didn't seem to be wearing it in Utopia part 2, so I guess his 'fashion statement' was over. I'm still disappointment with Matt Fraction's idea of a 'peace protest', where you ignite everything that stands in your way.

Actually, he was wearing it. It just looks like a darker shade of orange, and his hair is better. He's still being drawn funny (reminds me of X-men Evo Wolverine)--although it's a great improvement over the first issue (Dodson rocks :-)
Also he's kind of talking like a redneck. I didn't notice Julian using words like " I been" and "Ain't" before. And yes, I agree the flaming protest was hardly a peace demonstration. It's a very Julian thing to do but it's odd he called it 'peaceful', I'd expect him to use a more violent description (like he did in Academy X when he was rescuing Wither from the FBI). Few inconsistencies, but at least Hellion's doing what he exists for: to cause trouble, right? Could be worse.
I hope that Utopia 1 and 2 took place over like one day, or else it means he hasn't changed clothes for a while. EEE-ewww!
And that's my nitpicking. Back to writing 'Reaction Rates: the Iodine Clock Reaction''. Don't tell me that doesn't just get your heart racing!
"I hope that Utopia 1 and 2 took place over like one day, or else it means he hasn't changed clothes for a while. EEE-ewww!"LOL! I was thinking the same thing about their regular unstable molecule costumes. They almost never change those... And considering how tight-fitting they are, you don't want to borrow any! Imagine many wedgies poor Psylocke must have...!!

They don't have underwear lines either... /gag and think of how sweaty they must get with all the hard physical activity of fighting...
No wonder Julian has resorted to the dorky tank-top ;) "Clearly a cry for help against the inhumane laundry practices at Xaviers'.
I think its starting to look like Julian may make his own mutant team. The only problem, is he is going down a similar road that the brotherhood once took. And there really are some almost surprises in there. I'm glad to see that Match is teaming up with them. I think that these characters have been sitting too long and cant wait to see where they take them now. Can anyone say new codenames?
" @John Valentine said:He was wearing still wearing it, ha. Argh... Fraction sucks anyway. He just changes character's traits to fit his lazy and uninspired plots without reason to do so - Hellion, Iceman, Elixir, Emma etc- enough Fraction, enough." @xerox-kitty said:Yeah I know, but he didn't seem to be wearing the stupid Quentin Quire tank top anymore. Fraction is teh suck. /agree
At least he's back to wearing his real red and black costume in X-force #19. That was awesome. I may or may not been mildly excited to see him, and note that he is also aware of Laura being MIA. And to see the costume of his I like best drawn by Mike Choi...yay! That was a pleasant surprise.
If he *really* wanted to--and Frost and/or the Cuckoos weren't around to stop him--then I think he could bust out on his own. With his higher power levels, he was shown blowing enormous holes in the mansion roof (NXM) so I don't think any structure they have in place could stop him (unless it was some sort of super-defense system which I doubt they have). Pretty much anyone short of a telepath or telekinetic would be hard pressed to prevent him if he decided to leave, due to the fact that he can break the sound barrier at a moment's notice (while traveling vertically to boot). Not saying he can't be stopped--if he's not prepared in a fight, he's the first one to keel over; but in a situation like this, if people aren't watching him closely, an escape could be easily executed.
Crossing my fingers. It would be awesome reading for me...I realize it's unlikely though. Oh well, a girl can dream! Ahahahah
