Selene or Emma?

Which one of these do you like the most, and which one would win in a fight. Personally i like Selene more and think she would win, even though i havent read alot of comcis with her in it. And so i wont have to make another topic is she really 10,000 years old, it says that on comicvine and thats old

is she older than apocalypse

If she is 10000 years old, then yes. Apoc is like 5000, give or take 500 years.

Selene is a great character, I hate emma every time I see her in a comic I hope someone punches her. Selene is also a lot more powerful

Selene has claimed she was ancient when mankind was emerging...well that has not been a proven statement, it has been confirmed she is at least 14,000 years old as she was alive during the time of Conan, Red Sonja and Kulan Gath

but on the topic of Selene/Emma...Selene trumps Emma in everything

LOL I hated Emma because I disliked her move into X-Men. It felt like she was there in place of Jean Grey. But now, I appreciate her a bit more.

I've never liked Emma, but I always felt that the writer's wanted me to hate her so :l

That being said......she's probably better than Selene (from my "experience")

Selene is more powerful than Emma whether Emma is a telepath or in diamond form. Selene has full control of organic substance, vast psionic skills and magic. What ever mind powers Emma has Selene can dodge, she had single-handlely defeated Rachel Summers and Magma.

Sebastian Shaw fears her as he knows that anytime she can kill most of the members of the Hellfire Club.

Selene for both. Emma wouldn't be able to touch her in a fight. Selene has TK and super speed. Emma is outclassed here.

Emma is a very, powerful telepath, Omega level Telepath.
So in a battle of brains yes.

But not against Selens other powers.

plus emma may be an very powerful telepath but selene is much more experienced with like 10,000 years of experience she probably has astral plane techniques most other telepaths havent discovered yet. plus magic 9once again, 10,000 years of experience) plus like all her other powers and a death touch

Yes. Emma is technically and naturally a superior telepath but Selene is far more Machevallian character and has so many other abilities. I wouldnt put Selene above sucking the lifeforce outta an infant.

Emma is waaay sexier. But Selene is stronger. And for the picture above - read comics, Selene is obsessed with Frost and she admitted steeling Emma's idea of having a bunch of students that are ready to die for you and love you. She is so trying to be like Emma it's sad. Even in their Hellfire Club times she was always in the shadow of Emma - never noticed by guys, always behind Shaw. Emma uses every bit of her powers and knowledges in interesting ways. Selene is almost almighty but she has absolutely no clue what to do, she is bored and makes some uninteresting moves.
In X-Force 11 Selene is VERY feminine and attractive, god, if I were Eli Bard, I would not betray such a woman, but now this whole oldschool Hellfire Club look is boring and too vulgar. Not feminine, more like a transvestite. Emma did a right thing to forget this horrible rags like it was a nightmare and slip into sexier clothes. Selene didn't. So - like Selene if drawn by Alina Urusov. Like Emma always and forever - she is not immortal or boring all-powerful, but smart, sexy, dramatic character with great personality. You don't see that she is awesome and complicated, you should probably go cry over Jean Grey or something.

Emma could only defeat Selene via telepathy because Emma has more telepathic skill.

Exactly. Selene uses her telepathy in other ways, like magically and mystically. Ways that Emma would never dream of. = D

Emma has used her telepathy more often than Selene though.

yeah plus if Selene feeds on her even a little bit she gains some control over her victim (think what she did to trevor fitzroy), so if she fed on emma even just a bit, that would give her enough of an advantage to perhaps beat her!

That is true.

Selene is too powerful for Emma to completely dominate. Especially in the first couple of seconds in the battle.

Actually Emma Frost has beaten Rachel one on one as well, and Selene has had her butt kicked by Rachel

not really selene and rachel never realyl got to finish there fights they were always interupted on most counts
