In 1964 he battled the evil Baba Yaga at the cost of one of her eyes. In 1959 Hellboy went up against the villain Herman Von Klempt and his genetically engineered cyborg ape Brutus. He stopped both on them and ended Klempts evil experiments however it would not be the last time they fought. In 1994 Hellboy first encountered Rasputin after Prof. Bruttenholm accidentally awoke him many years earlier and Bruttenholm met his end at the hands of a frog like monster sent by Rasputin now to lure Hellboy to him. After traveling to Cavendish Hall to talk to Mrs. Cavendish Rasputin attempted to revive the Ogdru Jahad. He summoned on of their children a Ogdru Hem that killed the men of the Cavendish family earlier( the Professor and the men years earlier tried to stop Rasputin) and hope to once again use the beast but to fight Hellboy but it was killed by him and his friends. In revenge Hellboy let Rasputin burn to death, but Rasputin’s allies awoke. Hellboy and Kate Corrigan went on a mission in Griart a village in Europe. A series of murders where happening and where done by ghost of werewolves. Later Hellboy discovers the truth of his origins as well as meeting his father the demon Sheol in a Scottish church in 1995.

The ritual was supposed to happen at the hidden Castle Giurescu and after Kate made guesses at the location three teams went to the three possible choice and Hellboy went to the first solo. Hellboy went to the right site and was attacked by Harpies. Rasputin also was revived and used his powers to turn Ilsa into Hecate. After Vladimir Giurescu was brought back to life by Project Ragnor Rok he meanwhile met Hecate and via Chaos spirits discovered his true name Anung Un Rama and was informed that he would release the Ogdru Jahad, but Hellboy fought against his purpose and even broke his horns (they had grown back upon meeting the spirits). After Vladimir died in an explosion Roger was found and drained out Liz’s powers leaving her in a coma while on her own mission. It wasn’t until Hellboy and Roger defeated his brother that Liz was given back her powers. In 1998 Hellboy went to Lizarza, Spain and met Adrian Frost who’s father Malcolm Frost witnessed Hellboys awaking in 1944. It was here that Hellboy became aware of the power of his arm and decided it was best he keep it.
Box of Evil
Hellboy and Abe go to Druggan Hill in England investigating the theft of a box which is a prison for the demon Ualac. It was taken by Igor Weldon Bromhead and had it sold to a count and his wife. The countess was possessed by Ualac and after defeating Hellboy he steals his crown of fire which invisibly sits on his head. He used his name Anung Un Rama to imprison him however his name means nothing without the crown and with it gone he was free. He stopped Ualac trapped him and sent him back to Hell and gave his crown to a demon in Pandemonium named Astaroth. Conqueror Worm

Hellboy later finds a witch-doctor Mohlomi in hopes of getting answers about his destiny. After traveling into the bottom of the sea. He is imprisoned by an evil sea hag named Bog Roosh thanks to a special nail and three mermaids. She intends to stop the apocalypse by taking him apart and sending his arm to the bottom of the ocean. However thanks to one of the three mermaids he stops the hag, however he is lost at sea. Two years later he washes up on an unknown island. He accidentally awoke a arcane mystic who has knowledge of the universe such as Ogdru Jahad, the planet and even God. However as he was awoken by Hellboy’s blood it’s demonic effects have caused him to lose his sanity. He stops the mystic as well as an Ogdru Jahad offspring called Urgo-Hem. He was also being observed by a changeling called Daoine Sidh. He has recently turned down a chance to rule all witches and once again battled Baba Yaga as well Koschei the Deathless.
Wild Hunt
Hellboy becomes apart of a group called the Wild Hunt. The groups purpose is to hunt down Giants that have begun to arise around England. Soon however the leaders of the hunt turn on Hellboy revealing he was the teams real reason to hun all along. Meanwhile Hellboy has been experiencing visions and a powerful being known as the Queen of Blood is being revived. She soon start attacking those who turned against her after her rebirth and even starts an army of demons.

Powers And Abilities
Hellboy has demonic strength and is able to lift 10 tons. Another power Hellboy has is tracking and can locate his enemies wherever they are if he picks up their scent. Hellboy is also able to adapt to his environment whether the condition is extremely harmful. Though his durability is great, he can still be damaged. When he is damaged, he has a powerful healing factor that allows him to recover from fatal wounds. He has been savagely beaten by large opponents,thrown through walls and even been shot in his chest multiple times, yet be continues to fight. Hellboys stamina is amazing. He can continue fighting for hours. Hellboy's right arm is a solid rock carved with occult symbols which can be used as a good hand to hand combat weapon. He is 8 1/2 feet tall and has supernatural density, strength, and is in good shape.

The Bureau for Paranormal Research and Defense (B.P.R.D) is brought in after Sakai attacks one of his associates. Kate and Hellboy are talking and Hellboy sarcastically says, "Gosh, Kate, I feel just awful dragging you away from rotting manuscripts and ancient texts. I mean, you used to research trolls!". Then Kate says, "It's okay. Now I get to work with one." Hellboy and a team of agents still investigating the possessed man's rampage, but Hellboy sees a sword on the floor and behind it was a mysterious fox. He turns around and then looks back to find that the fox had disappeared. While Kate is still talking to Russell Thorne and the professor's associate after they have a dispute, Hellboy picks up this mysterious discarded samurai sword, which he is then disappeared into a weird world of Japanese mythology.

She was put there under protection by the samurai that she loved. The samurai who knows about how she was supposed to die by the demons, Thunder and Lightning. Knowing this he goes to a place they were going to kill her at and he battles them. The samurai put up a great fight so that she wouldn't be slain by the the demons. The samurai promised that he wouldn't interfere and he broke the promise. By punishing him, he banished the samurai and he left going through the woods. Her father who said it was a dishonor, prayed to the Gods for their forgiveness and it was granted. The father then found the samurai after he had banished him and turned him into stone. The mysterious ghost women goes on crying saying that how she waited for his return but he never showed up. The lady waiting heard footsteps and she thought it was her beloved, but instead it was her father. Her father came in and walked behind her. She dropped to the floor thinking that her love would save her but he didn't. Her father chopped her head off. The fox that led Hellboy to where he was, appeared outside of the house when zhellboy waled out. The Kitsune(fox) told him that he must protect the Sword of Storms and to go East and he would arrive to his destination.

Back in Japan, Kate and Russel are still searching for Hellboy and she forces Russel to use his physic powers to see if he could find something. Russel says that he is close and starts to get scared. They soon here someone coming and sees a shadow on the floor as if someone walked by. Kate opens the door while Russel hides behind a desk and Kate sees a footprint and a face appears on it. Then different objects appear and begin to move. Russel starts screaming and Kate tells him that they are Zuku Migani, harmless artifacts possessed by spirits that are harmless. They begin to dance with the objects and Russel says that it looks as if he came out of a fairytale. After saying that they objects began to attack them and a clothe was chocking Kate and the brooms and stuff was beating up Russel.
Liz and Abe are talking and starts off the conversation by saying, "Underwater, that giving-me-air thing- that was, um... I didn't know you could do that. Abe responds by saying," I wasn't sure it would work, either, but I have burped excess air before, so I thought ... Liz cuts him off and say, " Aah! I was breathing your burps? Ugh!" Just before Abe was going to tell her it wasn't a burp (assuming its a kiss) Liz sees a fox and tells it to come here. Abe says that fox in Japanese legends mean something. The fox leaves and Liz and Abe follow. They go into a tunnel and then the place changes and then woman talk sto them and tells him that his friend is on a different journey that they can not go on. Liz says "What friends", and the woman says the red one. The women tells them that they have to follow a different journey and that they have problems of their own. The tells them that the time of man would be at its end when they're brothers are unleashed the storms are just the beginning. Not able to escape off of the rocky land they're on Abe and Liz is stuck with a sleeping dragon that eats everything and the only way to get off safely is with Hellboy's Right Hand of Doom.

The next scene would be people searching around ruins. The oastor sees visoions of bodies being torutred. He sees the same women getting her body stretch, then being put into a tomb whit spikes and also being chained up. Professor Broom brings along a crew were they find this women named Ana dead. Her husband griebes over her body and brings along. The pastor to help fight off the demon who is near by. The husband stabs his wife before she is turned into a vampire. destroyed ERZSEBET ONDRUSHKO, a female vampire that bathed in the blood of innocents to stay young. The pastor runs out of the room after the professor sees the pool of blood. The vampire talks to the professor and says that .
Hellboy is going to Tibet and is tem.m a old house in the hamptons says a house is haunted. As a favor theyre asked to go and check it out. It was built my a nutcase in the 20s.
Another flash back happens to before the search team went to go looking for Anna. A younger professor and team goes to the house looking for the vampire knowing how to kill it. The pastor is scared and is unsure of them defeating the vampire.
Now back at the house, they set up and a man is taking photos of Hellboy for the brochure attraction. Hellboy says we don't do pictures and holds the camera. The Rich mans says maybe later then and goes and away.
Then the flashback of someone talking to the professor saying that the job is not done.
SIDNEY LEACH and Liz sees that bthe staties in the house are crying. Abe says that the tempertaure is dropping and when looking at the window sees bloody handprints everywhere.
Hellboy sees blood on the floor and three apparitions of women in the front of him.
The prfosseor knows that ghost are ther and Hellboy deost want the professore there. Liz cut the lights off to see if anyone pops up. The get a reading and on the screen sees ghost walking around everywhere. The ghost disappear and end up in the room where they are. mIt seems to be a whole bunch of women surrounding the professor. The vampire is responsible for killing over a thousand people. The man take s them into a room where all the medieval torture devices are. Instaed of Vanity losing her beauty she lost her soul.
Flashback: The professor is saying is someone there. He is alone and the candles go out. Wolves appear but when he closes his eyes and open them up again the images are gone. The p[astor wonders how the Vanity got in the church and question the pastors belief about God.
SIDNEY LEACH finds something on the machines and , Hellboy and Abe go with him to check it out.
Then 2 women go and someone with a ring. Anna late out at night hides but they end up finding her and seeing her. The two women know about he and that she was suppossse to get marries. When she end up home ERZSEBET ONDRUSHKO killed Marie and it is shown that she is dead on the floor and behind her the baby crib full of blood. The women checking herself out in the mirror with her wedding dress she talks about vampire not being in the village because of the pastor. She then turns behind her and sees the women but when looking in the mirror doesnt see her reflection. The bride notice what the women was and Asabat slain her.
The old man who was taking the pictures of Hellboy at the beginning would be the pastor, Father Perpeskew who he was with originally to fghit Asabat in 1939.
Liz and Professor Broom is walking together to find Asabat. Hellboy comes and punches Asabat who is old and with no skin and a large overbite. Hellboy is unconscious and no one is in the house with SIDNEY LEACH. There is an awkward silence
Hellboy wakes up and is found in a place where s women thing is talking to him. She is saying that humans are nothing and he said he was gonna cut him some slack because she s a powerful mythilogivcal figure and then he is being chased by huge snakes.
Abe is stull captured by two womenwho turned out to be harpes. The harpes would turn the pastor into a beast and Hellboy hurts him. Abe breaks free and attack the Hapres and holding on to one of their feet. The other Harpe comes from behind and attack Abe by clawing his back Abe lets go and falls to the ground.
It is to late and Asabat is brought back to life. Asabat takes him back to the blood bathe. Professor adds a concentration of Holly water to it and when she got out beasting him up .
Your stained withnthe blood of your own kin. Says the staue women. Hellboy and the statue attacks calling ehr Queen of the Cross Roads. The Queen is chasing Hellboy and is beating him up.
The statue said that he lsot himself and that they are superior to humans and that hey are gods of darkness. She then goes to talk about his destiny. As the sun comes up the sttue turns into a chamber. The eyes light up and a snake comes out and goes underground.
Then there is another flashback of Professor Broom to go into Transvania . The Right hand of doom ids the key to the bottomless pit. It will bring the fire that witll incinerate the world. Professor saying we must triumph through darkness to reach the light.

Hellboy: The Movie
In 2004, Hellboy was portrayed by Ron Perlman. Being born in the flames of hell during World War II. He was brought to Earth by Grigori Effimovich Rasputin being summoned by Nazi occultists during World War II. He was taken by the Allied forces during the war and was taken care of by Professor Broom played by John Hurt the founder of the Bureau for Paranormal Research and Defenses. Though despite his evil origins, Hellboy would become the ultimate champion of good. At the B.P.R.D, Hellboy would be part of a family that includes the telepathic Abe Sapien "Mer-Man" played by Doug Jones and Liz Sherman played by Selma Blair, the pyrokinetic. The movie starts off with a portal being opened and since it was open for to long something was able to get out. When the Allied powers reached the site they took Hellboy with them. Rasputin is a mad men who wants to reclaim Hellboy back to his original nature so that he can bring about Armageddon. Hellboy and the others are a team to protect humans from the paranormal who is secretly hidden from society.
In the coldest regions of space, the monstrous entities Ogdru Jahar-- the Seven Gods of Chaos- slumber in their crystal prison, waiting to reclaim Earth...and burn the heavens.

The setting is now in the Douglas army base, N.M. on Christmas eve 1955. Hellboy is up watching tv when he is then being told by Professor Broom to go to bed so that Santa Claus will arrive. Hellboy wants to stay up but the professor tells him that he cant. So Hellboy asks the professor to read him a bedtime story. The story begins with the professor saying, "It is said, that at the dawn of time man, beast and all magical beings alike lived together under a silent treaty, but man has been created with a hole in his heart. A hole that no possessions, power or knowledge could fill and in his infinite greed man dream of expanding his dominion over the entire Earth. Blood of many an elf, ogre and goblins spilled in their war with man and King Balor, the one arm King of Ethran watch the slaughter with dread and despair. But one day the master of the goblin blacksmiths offered to build the king a golden mechanical army, 70 times 70 soldiers that have would need of no hungry and can not be stopped. Prince Nuharden begged his father to agree. Build me this army the king said. So a magical crown was formed that would allow those of royal blood to command the royal army if unchallenged. I am King Balor, leader of the golden army. Is their anyone who would dispute my right. And in this room no one challenged his word. So the world was changed, and the next time the humans marched they felt the Earth tremble in their presence and saw the sky darken with monstrous chains. The Golden Army had no remorse felt no loyalty or pain and King Balor's heart grew heavy with regret. So he called a truce. He divided the crown into three pieces. One for the humans and two for himself. In exchange man would keep to the cities and magical beings would own the forest.
