Wanted for a murder he didn't commit, John Constantine leaves the U.K. and heads to India in an effort to resurrect his dead girlfriend in these stories from issues #261-266. But something wicked haunts the slums of Mumbai, killing beautiful young women…

    Back Blurb

    Never mind the Bollywood

After years of filthy living, John Constantine needs to whitewash his soul. His wicked actions have led to the death of the woman he professes to love, and before he can resurrect her he must purify himself of his countless sins.

To do this, Constantine waves goodbye to London and seeks enlightenment in India.

But though the British Empire crumbled years ago, its old colonial atrocities still cast a baleful shadow. And Constantine finds that in this land of double-crossing demons, ancient gods and silver-screen goddesses, the crimes of his countrymen appear to be connected to a growing body count.

Back in Blighty, the bastard children of the Thatcher era rage on. Punk is dead, but its nightmares won't quit breathing---and a call from an old punk mate drags Constantine back into a world he though he's left far behind.

Fortunately for Constantine, he's ably abetted by a young alchemist and gangster's daughter, Epiphany. But can they put an end to the U.K.'s most lethal legacies? And will Epiphany help Constantine get over his dead lover?

Featuring legendary writer Peter Milligan (HUMAN TARGET, THE BRONX KILL) and pogo-pounding artwork from Giuseppe Camuncoli (Jonah Hex), Stefano Landini and Simon Bisley (Lobo), HELLBLAZER: INDIA is a saga of Eastern magic, Western imperialism and punk-rock aggression!

"No Future" after exiting "India" 0

It this point of Peter Milligan's run on Hellblazer I was on board for the long over due adventure John Constantine and us (his fans) deserve.  This trade paperback is broken into two parts: the first part is the India arc that wraps up the Phoebe "Hooked" arc and then the second "No Future" arc, which Peter Milligan is setting up the Shade Epic... Does this mean John has "No Future?"    The India arc I felt was cut one issue two short, it is almost like they rushed the arc because it was just t...
