Amazing! Shocking! Astounding! And cinema-like reviewed, Twilight Thunder proudly presents his spectacular 25th review!
This issue is as special as my 25th review (this means a lot to me, seriously) Because it's written and drawn by the best of the best, people who had previously offered their vision of Alan Moore's "bleeding british" Paranormal investigator, as they say in the synopsis of the book, always-naughty, never-nice John Constantine. The book has five holiday tales, each one told by a different group of creators. My personal favorites are Jamie Delano and David Lloyd's epic about a doomed guy who's got everything to lose, even though his playing his cards without fear (can't remember the name of the story) The other one's gotta be "The Inglishmin" Told by Brian Azzarello and Rafael Grampa, poem-like about a pub in london where a strange event takes place. Last but not least, Dave Gibbons and Sean Phillips' "Happy New Fucking Year!" Where John faces a madman looking for immortality, but guess what? his immortality can only be fulfilled if a newborn child's blood is spilled.
Hope you like it, be sure to give a try, you'll not waste your time nor money.
