The Hollywood Reporter broke the news today that Dominic Purcell has come aboard CW's The Flash to play the iconic villain Heatwave. He will be appearing along with Prison Break co-star Wentworth Miller who is playing Captain Cold. Both Miller and Purcell will make their debut in episode four of the first season.

Could this be the start of a full-fledged team of Rogues in the Flash's future? The cast of characters continues to grow as Clancy Brown plays General Wade Eiling Robbie Amell is playing one half of Firestorm. Also, the first episode features Stephen Amell aking a cameo as Arrow.

What do you guys think of the casting? What other Rogues would you like to see on this show?

The Flash debuts on October 7th on the CW.

I always thought of Captain Cold and Heat Wave as brothers.

Let's hope he's a better Heatwave than he was a Vampire in Blade 3.
